What's up people, how are you, welcome to a new post, today I was finishing the first fan art I do of FernHeart as for the art without a doubt is one of my favorite cards of the Chaos Legion version, it reminds me slightly of Kratos in the last installments of the game, anyway I leave you with the process.

Que pasa gente, como estan? sean bienvenidos a un nuevo post, hoy estuve terminando el primer fan art que hago de FernHeart en cuanto al arte sin duda es una de mis cartas favoritas de la versión de Chaos Legion, me recuerda ligeramente a Kratos en las ultimas entregas del juego, en fin los dejo con el proceso.

Process / Proceso

FernHeart has a lot of clothes and fur that makes a little complicated to square everything in the sketch to paint comfortably, several times I had to put a gray layer to not get confused with so many things that were in the background, mainly the giant horns of his armor, it blurred a lot with the lineart of the body and others, I spent a long time erasing lines to then place the base colors, I did first the body color and then paint the hair, why this way? as it has so much armor is more comfortable to finish the parts that are below and those that are above also finish them first.

FernHeart tiene un montón de ropa y pelaje que hace un poquito complicado cuadrar todo en el boceto para poder pintar cómodamente, varias veces tuve que colocar una capa gris para no confundirme con tantas cosas que habían en el fondo, principalmente los cuernos gigantes de su armadura, se difuminaba mucho con el lineart del cuerpo y demás, estuve un buen rato borrando líneas para luego colocar los colores bases, hice primero el color del cuerpo para luego pasar a pintar le cabello, porque de esta forma? como tiene tanta armadura se hace mas cómodo terminar las partes que estan abajo del todo y las que estan arriba también terminarlas de primero.

Having the bases of the body ready and part of the armor painted I started to work on the horns, as well as the other parts of the body, then I started to put the glows for the fire on FernHeart's hand, I was a little bit insecure with this color, the last time I used green to illuminate I screwed up big time, but this time I did it right, as you notice the glow is quite soft so as not to overdo it with the shades of the color, then with some shadows and a very light bluish glow on the back I started to work more on the effects of the face.

Al tener las bases del cuerpo listas y parte de la armadura pintada comencé a trabajar en los cuernos, así mismo como en las otras partes del cuerpo, después comencé a colocar los brillos por el fuego en la mano de FernHeart, tenia un poquito de inseguridad con este color, la ultima vez que utilice verde para iluminar la cague en grande, pero esta vez lo hice bien, como notan el brillo es bastante suave para no exagerar con las tonalidades del color, luego con algunas sombras y un brillo azulado muy ligero en la espalda comencé a trabajar mas en los efectos del rostro.

It was challenging the light work on this illustration, but I love the result, little by little it was coming to life, finishing the illustration I decided to place glows in the background with the same colors of FernHeart's body to simulate that he was wrapped in the same flames that he is able to create.

Fue desafiante el trabajo de luces en esta ilustración, pero me encanta el resultado, poco a poco fue tomando vida, terminando la ilustración decidí colocar brillos en el fondo con los mismos colores del cuerpo de FernHeart para simular que estuviera envuelto en las mismas llamas que el es capaz de crear.
