A esta hora de la madrugada acabo de terminar esta amigable adaptación de este personaje de la carta DEATH ELEMENTAL de Splinterlands para este nuevo concurso de Social Media, la cual les comparto para la participación de este nuevo concurso semanal y el disfrute de todos ustedes, para esta carta tan lúgubre quise hacerle una adaptación un poco más amistosa y algo tierna sin perder su esencia. At this hour of the early morning I just finished this friendly adaptation of this character from the Splinterlands DEATH ELEMENTAL card for this new Social Media contest, which I share with you for the participation of this new weekly contest and the enjoyment of all of you, for this card so gloomy I wanted to make it a little more friendly and somewhat tender adaptation without losing its essence. Etapas del dibujo/Drawing stages
Comence con un boceto simple utilizando un pincel un poco más grueso como es el tipo Pelo. Difumine un poco el delineado y en una nueva capa comencé la aplicación de colores entre morados, lila, azul de varias tonalidades con un método de mezcla Normal, variando un poco las tonalidades de cada color. También fui comence agregar algunos brillos como en los ojos con una brocha tipo Erupción, en una nueva capa con un método de mezcla de Añadir, de igual forma en la misma capa añadí los demás brillos con un pincel tipo Puntillismo dándole textura.
I started with a simple sketch using a slightly thicker brush such as the Pelo type. I blurred a little the outline and in a new layer I began the application of colors between purple, lilac, blue of various shades with a Normal blending method, varying a little the shades of each color. I also started to add some glitters like in the eyes with a brush type Eruption, in a new layer with a blending method of Add, in the same way in the same layer I added the other glitters with a brush type Pointillism giving it texture.
En esta segunda etapa agregue un fondo negro para hacer contraste con los brillos y los colores bastante morados y azules que tiene este personaje. Agregué algunas estrellas, más brillos con la brocha tipo Puntillismo. Luego en el fondo negro aplique varias tonalidades entre rosa y morado, con pinceles duros como el Rotulador y también usando el Aerógrafo y al mismo tiempo, difuminandolo que me diera la impresión de una nube oscura recreando una especie de portal al inframundo. Agregué más detalles y brillos, enfocándome en el brillo principal que emana desde sus diminutas manos a manera de un poder sobrenatural. Me gustó el efecto que logré con la nube para el portal con una capa Añadir y un aerógrafo y difumino.
In this second stage I added a black background to contrast with the brightness and the purple and blue colors that this character has. I added some stars, more glitters with the Pointillism brush. Then on the black background I applied several shades between pink and purple, with hard brushes like the Marker and also using the Airbrush and at the same time, blurring it to give me the impression of a dark cloud recreating a kind of portal to the underworld. I added more details and glows, focusing on the main glow emanating from his tiny hands as a supernatural power. I liked the effect I achieved with the cloud for the portal with an Add layer and an airbrush and blur.
Para esta última etapa, en una capa con método de mezcla Añadir utilizando un pincel tipo Brillo fui agregando destellos de forma lineal bajando el grosor del pincel. De igual forma, delimite con un grosor al mínimo con el pincel de brillos las partes más oscuras de este pequeño espectro del inframundo. Utilice también la brocha Puntillismo para darle algunos brillos más mínimos al poder que emana de sus manos, y contorneadolo con el pincel de Brillo. Trabaje con el fondo en una capa de Añadir para ir creando la procedencia de la luz con pincel Aerógrafo con una tonalidad de verde agua y turquesa claro, de manera que subía y bajaba la opacidad, utilizando también la brocha tipo Erupción para algunos destellos en forma circular, agregue líneas muy finas con aerógrafo utilizando la regla para un trazo limpio, y culmine difuminando y agregando destellos de estrellas. Espero les haya gustado el resultado de esta representación!😉
For this last stage, in a layer with blending method Add, using a Glow brush, I added sparkles in a linear way, lowering the thickness of the brush. In the same way, I delimited with a minimum thickness with the glitter brush the darkest parts of this small spectrum of the underworld. Also use the Pointillism brush to give some more minimal glows to the power emanating from his hands, and outline it with the Glow brush. I worked with the background in an Add layer to create the origin of the light with the Airbrush brush with a shade of water green and light turquoise, in a way that raised and lowered the opacity, also using the Eruption brush for some sparkles in a circular shape, add very thin lines with airbrush using the ruler for a clean stroke, and culminate blurring and adding sparkles of stars. I hope you liked the result of this rendering!😉
