Greetings friends! Today I want to share my second Zentangle practice, where my idea was to capture some flowers from this exercise in a bookmark I made for my friend @ylaffittep. Here I show you the result.
The materials I used were: opaline cardboard, black gel pens, ruler, pencil, black marker, black wood crayon and purple and pink acrylic paint.

Saludos amigos! Hoy quiero compartir mi segunda práctica de Zentangle, donde mi idea fue plasmar algunas flores de este ejercicio en un marcapáginas que hice para mi amiga @ylaffittep. Aquí les enseño el resultado.
Los materiales que utilicé fueron: cartulina opalina, bolígrafos de gel de color negro, regla, lápiz, marcador negro, crayón de madera de color negro y pintura acrílica de color violeta y rosa.
The first thing I did was to take a sheet of white opaline cardboard and cut 2 rectangles, this is what I do to paste the sheets after the practice in my sketchbook. Then, with the black marker and with the help of the ruler, I made some lines that served as a frame.
Lo primero fue tomar una hoja de cartulina opalina de color blanco y cortar 2 rectangulos, esto lo hago para pegar las hojas después de la práctica en mi cuaderno de dibujo. Luego, con el marcador negro y con ayuda de la regla, hice unas líneas que me sirvieron de marco.
I took the purple paint and with my index finger I made some strokes in the form of tro spots on both frames. It was just marking with my fingers without any pattern. I just marked the background with these 2 colors that I love.
Tomé la pintura violeta y con mi dedo indice hice unos trazos en forma de manchas de tro de ambos marcos. Fue simplemente marcar con los dedos sin ningún patrón. Solamente marcar el fondo con estos 2 colores que me encantan.
The strokes were not symmetrical, so they looked like this:
No fueron trazos de forma simétrica así que quedaron de esta manera:
Then I made the flowers and filled them with thin lines. First from the center to the middle of each petal, then from the edge to the center to meet both line strokes.
Luego hice las flores y las rellené con líneas delgadas. Primero desde el centro havia la mitad de cada pétalo, luego desde el borde hasta el centro para encontras ambos trazos de líneas.
I made different flowers on the 2 leaves and filled in with the pen lines.
Hice diferentes flores en las 2 hojas y rellené con las líneas del bolígrafo.
I finally finished the 2 sheets of my practice.
Finalmente terminé las 2 hojas de mi práctica.
Tomé la misma técnica: cartulina, los mismos colores y los mismo diseños de flores. Cuando terminé, lo recorté y le escribí el nombre de mi amiga. Este regalo para @ylaffittep, un día le haré llegar personalmente.
What I like about the Zentangle technique is that it can be used for decorations. This bookmark is something very useful and in a few minutes you can achieve a very nice result. I am happy with this second practice especially because I could apply it in this detail for my friend. I hope you like it and see you next time.
Lo que me gusta de la técnica de Zentangle es que se puede utilizar para decoraciones. Este marcapáginas es algo muy útil y en pocos minutos se puede lograr un resultado muy lindo.
