You don't really want another character, do you?
Another face to sketch with dulled mindgraphite point internally,
another backstory to slog through, another psychic swamp to traverse?
Another frame with weird proportions, another voice of unfamiliar modulations
or perhaps dulcet tones so similar to one's own,
they sound like tinny echoes bouncing down a funnel of granite.

Perhaps you don't want another image even, no pained sunset,
no sweep of grand scenes blurring into eventual brown,
no possible lifeforms from some alternate dimension,
no fictional still-lives of fantasy fruitbowls,
no history spurious and contrived with plastic-crested coats-of-arms,
no language pretentious and stuttering on the palate.
