I want to share a new interactive art drawing.
Today I want to draw an evil space monster with one eye, like that ancient Lovecraft monsters. This monster will ask you to feed him, and he will be growing up, like that old cookie clicker videogame, so I need to code the part where the drawing detects when the users clicks on it.
First I'm drawing the eye monster in Adobe Illustrator!

Quiero compartir un nuevo dibujo de arte interactivo.
Hoy quiero dibujar un monstruo espacial malvado con un solo ojo, como los antiguos monstruos de Lovecraft. Este monstruo te pedirá que lo alimentes, y él irá creciendo, como ese viejo videojuego de clickear galletas, así que necesito codificar la parte donde el dibujo detecta cuando los usuarios hacen clic en él.
¡Primero estoy dibujando el monstruo del ojo en Adobe Illustrator!
When the user clicks on it a lot of times, the monster will begin to grow up, like this!
Cuando el usuario haga clic en él muchas veces, el monstruo comenzará a crecer, ¡así!
and finally, the eyes will grow up and the monster will look like this, after that, the monster will say "I have enough!" and it will shrink to the original size.
y finalmente, los ojos crecerán y el monstruo se verá así, después de eso, el monstruo dirá "¡Tengo suficiente!" y se reducirá al tamaño original.
so I'm putting all in just one file, so it will load all at the same time, this is called a "sprite" in the videogame industry, I'm also adding a space background.
