🎨A day of painting in my workshop🎨[Es-EN]

Hola mis amigos amante de la pintura y amantes de las artes en general.
Hoy estaré compartiendo con ustedes una jornada de trabajo en mi taller, o mejor dicho en lo que tengo como taller, si porque nosotros lo cubanos somos muy adaptables a los espacios reducidos.
Estaré con ustedes mostrando el trabajo realizado durante toda una jornada y compartiré el proceso íntegro de una de las pinturas realizadas.
Primero quiero decirles que estas pinturas las hago para exponer en el proyecto en el cual pertenezco. Todas las pinturas que llevo son referente a el paisaje de La Habana, ya que cada artista tiene una línea de trabajo específica. Son las reglas del proyecto, no me pregunten ¿por qué?. Como les comenté antes mi línea de pinturas para el proyecto son los paisajes de la ciudad de La Habana.
Sin tantos rodeos vamos directo a la actividad.

Jornada completa de creación artística en mi taller de pintura

Primeramente quiero decirles que soy una persona bastante disciplinada con los horarios de trabajo. Eso no quiere decir que no sea flexible con mi tiempo pero por lo general le dedico 6/8 horas diarias a la pintura, recuerden que solamente vivo de mi arte y si no le dedico las horas necesarias, no tengo solvencia económica.
Los artistas en cuba por lo general tienen que llevar su carrera a la par de otra variante que genere ingresos para poder comer. Como le decimos aquí.

La primera variante es trabajar para garantizar comprar los frijoles de la casa.
La segunda es la línea de trabajo que te satisface espiritualmente, tu propia obra artística con la que verdaderamente haces tus exposiciones, y llevas a los salones y eventos artísticos. Un trabajo pensado y creado a tus gustos y preferencias creativas, libre y espontáneo.
La primera variante de trabajo debe ocupar el menor tiempo posible, para garantizar el resto de horas para dedicárselos al arte, o también puedes hacer una pintura que sea para comercializar, esto no quiere decir que la pintura alternativa carezca de calidad o que no tenga valor artístico ninguno, solo que es un trabajo de oficio, pensada con ciertos cánones estéticos que responden a algún que otro icono representativo de la nación, la cultura, la música, los clichés que exportan la identidad de un país. En pocas palabras artesanía y pintura para el turismo.

Dicho esto hoy les voy a estar mostrando varios de mis paisajes urbanos de La Habana colonial, con sus calles de adoquines y sabanas blancas colgadas en los balcones, donde todavía se ven en sus calles los coches antiguos y de personas caminando a toda hora. Lo más bonito de todo esto es que yo nunca pinto pensando en la venta, para mi cada pintura es como un pequeño pedacito que se desprende de mi cuando lo ves marchar en manos de su nuevo dueño.
Dicho esto pasamos de inmediato al proceso creativo, nunca he sido bueno explicando las cosas.

Proceso creativo desde principio a fin

Empecé temprano, sobre las 9 de la mañana me senté frente al caballete.

Ese fue el primero de otros 4 que fui terminando uno por uno, pero hoy sólo les muestro el resto de los trabajos ya terminados.

Eso fue todo, les puedo decir que fue una larga jornada y acabé sobre las 5:30 de la tarde. Después de varios días de secado ya están listos para ser expuestos en Prado.

Hello, my friends, lovers of painting and lovers of the arts in general.
Today I will be sharing with you a day of work in my workshop, or rather in what I have as a workshop, yes, because we Cubans are very adaptable to the short spaces.
I will be with you showing the work done during a whole day and I will share the entire process of one of the paintings made.
First I want to tell you that I make these paintings to exhibit in the project in which I belong. All the paintings I carry refer to the landscape of Havana, since each artist has an specific line of work. It's the rules, don't ask me why? As I told you before, my line of work is the landscapes of the historic Havana city.
Without so many detours, we go straight to the activity.

Full day of artistic creation in my painting workshop

First of all, I want to tell you that I am a very disciplined person with work schedules. That doesn't mean that I'm not flexible with my work time, remember that I only live from my art and if I don't dedicate the necessary hours to painting, I'm starving.
Artists in Cuba usually have to take their career on a par with another variant that generates income to be able to eat. As we say here.

The first variant is to work to guarantee to buy the beans of the house.
The second is the line of work that satisfies you spiritually, your own artistic work with which you truly make your exhibitions, and you take to the halls and artistic events. A work thought and created to your tastes and creative preferences, free and spontaneous.
This does not mean that the first variant lacks quality or does not have any artistic value, not at all just that it is one more work of trade, thought with certain aesthetic canons that respond to some other representative icon of the nation, culture, music, the clichés that export the identity of a country. That said, today I'm going to be showing you several of my urban landscapes of colonial Havana, with its cobblestone streets and white huts hanging on the balconies, fill your streets with old cars and people walking all the time. The most beautiful thing about all this is that I never paint thinking about the sale, for me each painting is like a little piece that comes off of you when you see it go into the hands of its new owner.
