Child murder! Did he deserve it? Not in the present, but maybe in the future - but this isn't acclaimed film, "Minority Report", you can't punish people for future crimes, especially in a universe where the future is not pre-ordained!
Happy post-Thanksgiving, all! Good to be back, bad news is that after talking to my editor, we're going to scrap 80% of what I wrote for Issue 8. The good news is that I'm not upset about it because I think all of that was necessary in helping me figure out the correct way forward for the issue.
Sometimes with writing you need to just finish a chapter or an issue, or a book that you know isn't right or good enough, just so you can start to pick it apart, turn it around in your mind, and understand what you DO need to write.
