Good morning, afternoon or evening, thanks for stopping by my post, this time I show you this piece called Magic Mushrooms, a brief step by step of how I made it. At the end of the post a gif is included that summarizes the whole process, without further we go to the post.
Mis ilustraciones siempre comienzan con una serie de trazos que a veces parecen incomprensibles, sin embargo, estos sirven para orientar hacia donde va a estar cada parte de la figura, en este caso es una vista en escorzo.
My illustrations always begin with a series of butts that sometimes seem incomprehensible, however, these serve to guide where each part of the figure is going to be, in this case it is a foreshortened view.
Una vez definido el boceto final, realicé una mancha con el color base, para esta ilustración y los volúmenes obtengo con un color ligeramente más oscuro dentro de la misma gama del color base.
Once the final sketch is defined, I made a stain with the base color, for this illustration and the volumens I obtain with a slightly darker color within the same range of the base color.
Continué con el fondo, ubicando cada uno de los hongos que conforman el conjunto, para este dibujo me inspiré en la variedad "Psilocybe semilanceata" (conocido comúnmente como mongui u hongo de San Juan)
I continued with the background, locating each of the mushrooms that make up the set, for this drawing I was inspired by the variety "Psilocybe semilanceata" (commonly known as mongui or San Juan mushroom)
Seguí la misma regla que con la figura principal, seleccioné un tono claro que corresponde a la variedad que utilicé como guía y realicé una mancha dentro del boceto que ya definí.
I followed the same rule as with the main figure, I selected a light tone that corresponds to the variety that I used as a guide and I made a stain within the sketch that I already defined.
Seleccioné dos tonos, uno más oscuro y otro más claro dentro del rango del color base, esto para darle volumen y profundidad a los hongos.
I chose two shades, one darker and one lighter within the range of the base color, this to give the mushrooms volume and depth.
Sólo falta la tercera capa para poder darle otra dimensión a la ilustración, aquí, bueno jugando con colores que no están dentro de los hongos todo inspirado en pinturas psicodélicas.
Only the third layer is missing to be able to give another dimension to the illustration, here, well playing with colors that are not inside the mushrooms, all inspired by psychedelic paintings.
Otra capa con otros colores para combinarlas y obtener un resultado más psicodélico.
Another layer with other colors to combine them and obtain a more psychedelic result.
Por último, el resultado final, después de aplicar capas encima para darle un poco de brillo alrededor de la figura principal.
After layering on top to give a little shine around the main figure, the final result.
Finalmente, recolecté las imágenes para hacer una animación en formato gif y visualizar el proceso.
Finally, I collected the images to make an animation in gif format and watch the process.
