Today I am going to introduce you to a character, from a new collection that I have been working on for some time now. This collection is called "The Daughters of the Sea".
It will consist of 7 characters, of which I have developed 3 so far. Each character is part of an advanced civilization, made up of 7 sea kingdoms.
I have invented a fantastic story, which shows a utopian world, where all beings live in harmony with their ecosystem and are responsible for its balance.
Each being is born from the sea and a natural element, which determines its skin color.
Today I will introduce you to the play entitled "De agua salada" and tell you how this character came about 😊
Description of the character of the play "De agua salada" 😊
"She is one of the daughters of the sea.
Deep-eyed and strong-willed.
She lives in the kingdom of Naiguatá.
Life in her kingdom, is maintained in harmony thanks to the energy of the elements of nature.
Each being of this civilization was born of the sea and a natural element.
The color of their skin represents their natural element: water.
They are all responsible for the natural and energetic balance of their ecosystem.
Each being also has a special virtue that they put at the service of their habitat, making their world the best place to live.
Their virtue is: Bravery and Courage.
A quality that allows him to face danger without showing fear and transforms this fear into determination, managing to overcome adversity."
Inspiration behind the character "De agua salada" 😊
My artworks are autobiographical, this character has African features; it is a way to pay homage to my ancestors, slaves who came from Africa during the period of colonization.
Each character lives in one of the 7 Kingdoms of Mar. Each Kingdom has the name of a coastal city of my country; cities where I have lived, grown and known throughout my life; in addition, they are cities that played a fundamental role during the time of the Spanish conquest. Fact that was the point of origin of our mestizo race.
Likewise, I use very specific elements of nature, such as water, river stone, corals and others. The character I share with you today is related to the Water element, hence her skin color. For indigenous peoples, water is a sacred element, as it is intimately related to the existence of human beings and life throughout our planet.
As you can see, each element has a meaning given by our native indigenous peoples; in this way, I highlight their beliefs, their respect for nature and their way of living in balance with it.
Why does this character live in the Kingdom of Naiguatá? 😊 Naiguatá is the name of a Caribbean chieftain of Venezuela who opposed the Spanish colonization. His name was given to a coastal town in my country, inhabited mostly by blacks brought from Africa during the slavery era. My ancestors.
Naiguatá is a beautiful coastal town, with fervent and colorful traditions, considered intangible heritage of humanity. Naiguatá has been a witness of our history and miscegenation.
Each character also possesses a virtue. Virtues are understood by society as positive traits that contribute to social harmony. I thought it appropriate to give a virtue to each character that will be part of this harmonious ecosystem. The virtue of the character "De agua salada" is Bravery and Courage, you can appreciate it by her look.

You may have noticed that this collection has personal elements, which I have used to recreate a utopian world, where races, virtues and nature intermingle to live in balance and harmony.

Hoy te voy a presentar un personaje, de una nueva colección en la cual he estado trabajando desde hace un tiempo. Esta colección se llama “Las hijas del Mar”.
Estará conformada por 7 personajes, de los cuales he desarrollado 3 hasta ahora. Cada personaje es parte de una civilización avanzada, conformada por 7 reinos de mar.
Me he inventado toda una historia fantástica, que muestra un mundo utópico, en donde todos los seres habitan en armonía con su ecosistema y son los responsables de su equilibrio.
Cada ser nace del mar y un elemento natural, lo cual determina su color de piel.
Hoy te presentaré la obra que lleva por título “De agua salada” y te contaré cómo surgió este personaje 😊
Descripción del personaje de la obra “De agua salada” 😊
“Ella es una de las hijas del mar.
De mirada profunda y carácter fuerte.
Vive en el reino de Naiguatá.
La vida en su reino, se mantiene en armonía gracias a la energía de los elementos de la naturaleza.
Cada ser de esta civilización, nació del mar y un elemento natural.
El color de su piel representa su elemento natural: el agua.
Todos son responsables del equilibrio natural y energético de su ecosistema.
Cada ser tiene además, una virtud especial que pone al servicio de su hábitat, haciendo de su mundo el mejor lugar para vivir.
Su virtud es: La Valentía y el Coraje.
Una cualidad que le permite enfrentar el peligro sin mostrar miedo y transforma este miedo en determinación, logrando superar las adversidades.”
Inspiración detrás del personaje “De agua salada” 😊
Mis obras son autobiográficas, este personaje tiene rasgos africanos; es una manera de rendir homenaje a mis ancestros, esclavos que vinieron de África durante el periodo de la colonización.
Cada personaje vive en uno de los 7 Reinos de Mar. Cada Reino tiene el nombre de una ciudad costera de mi país; ciudades en donde he vivido, crecido y conocido a lo largo de mi vida; además, son ciudades que jugaron un papel fundamental durante la época de la conquista española. Hecho que fue el punto de origen de nuestra raza mestiza.
Así mismo, utilizo elementos de la naturaleza muy específicos, como el agua, la piedra de río, los corales y otros. El personaje que te comparto hoy está relacionado con el elemento Agua, de allí, su color de piel. Para los pueblos indígenas, el agua es un elemento sagrado, ya que está íntimamente relacionado con la existencia de los seres humanos y la vida en todo nuestro planeta.
Como ves, cada elemento tiene un significado dado por nuestros pueblos originarios indígenas; de esta manera, resalto sus creencias, su respeto por la naturaleza y su forma de vivir en equilibrio con la misma.
¿Por qué este personaje vive en el Reino de Naiguatá? 😊 Naiguatá es el nombre de un cacique Caribe de Venezuela que se opuso a la colonización española. Su nombre fue dado a un pueblo costero de mi país, habitado en su mayoría por negros traídos de África durante la época de la esclavitud. Mis antepasados.
Naiguatá es un hermoso pueblo costero, con fervientes y coloridas tradiciones, consideradas patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad. Naiguatá ha sido testigo de nuestra historia y mestizaje.
Cada personaje posee además una virtud. Las virtudes son entendidas por la sociedad como rasgos positivos que contribuyen a la armonía social. Me pareció oportuno otorgarle una virtud a cada personaje que hará parte de este ecosistema armonioso. La virtud del personaje “De agua salada” es la Valentía y el Coraje, puedes apreciarla por su mirada.

Habrás notado que esta colección tiene elementos personales, que he utilizado para recrear un mundo utópico, en donde las razas, las virtudes y la naturaleza se entremezclan para vivir en equilibrio y armonía.
