It doesn't have a story yet, but it already has it's first fan art
Just a few days ago the new @splinterlands reward card was announced, I haven't seen it's story or powers anywhere yet, but I wanted to be the first to make it a fan art, I have about 30 cards still in queue to make their art in my style, but I couldn't resist and I put Lux as a priority for this week.
Lux Vega is the first Neutral Summoner in the game, and according to what I read this gives a significant advantage to the player who owns her, but she is also very limited, so if you plan to buy her, let me know in the comments and also leave your vote so you have more luck and you can buy her before she is sold out.

-Step 1:
In the announcement post of the letter, two images of Lux were shown, so I studied them both and added the elements of the character's clothing to the model I already had in mind, achieving a new pose that highlights even more the runes that this girl has on her face.

-Step 2:
To improve the coloring of the scene, before giving the color palette to the character, I focused on the background, I always leave this element for the end and sometimes because of this I find it difficult to achieve that the character and its environment are in harmony, that is why I first painted three arches, like those that could be found in a ruin of invocation and from the colors I got from there was that I started painting Lux.

Since the background had very bright colors, I painted Lux with darker colors, so she would stand out to the eye and not get lost among the background colors, and to make this even more noticeable, I applied a gaussian blur to the background, which helped me a lot to give focus to the main character and also saved me a lot of detailing time in the environment.

-Step 4:
Then in a new layer over all the others, I started to detail painting over the lines of the sketch, covering them as I was achieving a more refined finish, here I focused on giving a more shiny look to the clothes, so I could get more variety of colors and leather look in Lux's outfit.
-Step 5:
My goal was always to give a total focus to Lux, that's why I applied even more gaussian blur to the background, you can't see it, but I applied this filter three times, one for each summoning arc, to have a greater sense of depth. Also, I detail even more the character to give more emphasis in the scene, this was accompanied with the curves tools, color balance and channel mixer, always looking for more striking colors to match the bright light of the runes on his face. And Lux Vega is a summoner, she couldn't miss a bit of magic around her, I deduced that maybe hers was red or orange according to the reference images I had seen.
