It's been a long time since I have done any actual digital painting in the traditional sense. Most of my work is based around collage but I was looking at art this week and seeing all those messy brush strokes was getting me kind of hot and bothered.
I used a selfie as the base of this image but as you can imagine it got further and further from the original image as I started slapping on the paint!
I also added a little animation to the IMP on my shoulder so he sways in the breeze. I can't upload the video but you can click here and watch it:

Great to see how your art is changing and evolving, but still having recognizable "handwriting".
It's funny sometimes I veer into a new style and I worry it doesn't look like me, have to find that balance between growing and exploring new stuff and still incorporating my own spin!
I think you have your style already, even you are not maybe aware of it. And it's common that artist think when making something new that is sooo different than other art they have made. But, others see that specific "you", so don't worry, you are on a right path :)
