This is a fun sketch from last year that I haven't shared yet :D
This was a fun little experiment, this is not exactly a dragon, but more of a koala-sheep xD
As you can see above the drawing is based on one of my previous sketches.
After drawing several pages of more serious, sometimes creepy dragons, I tried to draw some huge eyed cute ones. I wanted something that could fit as a book illustration.
I really like how the body turned out, the face feels a little flat in comparison.:) The colors are also a nice change from my usual blue-purples.
I skipped the ink this time, mostly to see the difference. I guess it's softer, cuter and more kid friendly this way.
As usual I layered the colors softly over and over. This takes patience but the result is smoother and well blended.
This is an A6 format, color pencils. Copyright @kristyglas.
Thank you for checking out! ^^
I would love to have this as a stuffed animal, and I'm well-grown!
Aww thank you :D And that would be awesome ^-^

Thank you!!
It's so cute and floofy xD Like how it's got a colour gradient, though their direction makes me think it's possibly aquatic :)
Aww thank you, now I'm imagining it floating xD or how it would look like wet, like those fluffy cats after a bath 😂
I LOVE him
Aww thank you <3
