What's up everyone! I'm excited to show off my latest artwork, "LONG.LIVE.DIV". As some of you may know, this is a remake of ASAP Rocky's album cover. I've been a huge fan of his for a long time and one thing I really admire about him is his killer album covers. This one in particular caught my eye and I knew I had to put my own spin on it. The composition with the American flag wrapped around him is so iconic and I wanted to recreate that with a diva.
For this piece, I took a bit of a different approach. I posed the character and set everything up in 3D using Blender but then in post-processing, I really focused on making the flag look as realistic as possible. I added some color corrections, black and white, some distortions and glitches, and voila! We have the final look.
Also, just a quick side note, I mentioned yesterday that I'm working on a new story, and it's coming together nicely. I can't wait to share it with you all soon!
