Keeping in mind all those Dad dropped dime finds

Not on the run just spun done jack
Hanging with ego crap spat is zero fun
Same as bullet sprays shot from a gun
All joking aside on the ride clown

Counting down minutes while waiting for final escape
From this evil rat trap race with little desire to keep pace.
Strangely uplifting,but maybe that's just cause I'm fucked up. as always you have a way with words. And yup I'm still alive just currently a wee bit awol with shit to sort out.

Thank you @rubido. It means more than I can say to hear feedback about my writing, since I was never a writer prior to being on Hive for some deeply personal reasons due to experiences while young, if you get my drift.
I know what you mean about being awol. The last few months have been difficult on my end and I am also hearing the same thing from several others. Not sure of your personal situation, mind you, but just noticing a pattern of this with several. My heart goes out to you.
As long as I have the basics and a quiet space inside, I'm good, even when the rollercoaster gets a bit much, I have solid ground inside, even though it's not earth dirt, lol. Most days are pretty decent. It's more watching others struggle and suffer that is difficult.
Again, thank you so much. I'm really digging this word thing and writing like this...a whole new experience and learning as I go along. What a treat to have such an adventure.

No, I don't like writing easy stuff or fluff, LOL. I'm of the perception there are many that would prefer I do easy and fluff, at least based on some observations over the last six months. If I did that, I would be abandoning who I am to please others, not something I'm going to choose to do, even if I suffer consequences for it.

I read this a while back when I was offline and I liked it and forgot to go back online and tell you. And the pictures are so cozy surreal.
😂 I see we both do that, too funny. Thanks, glad you liked the photos. I seem to be going more and more into abstract and surreal kind of photos. It feels like something so against all my photography background and all those rules, something that's hard to break away from.
It's pretty, though. Pretty is nice. I get that whole feeling of going against my photography background, too. I really like a good, crisp photo with all kids of feather detail and the like, but I'm trying to push myself to take a more artistic approach sometimes.
@desro has a PhotoArt community that could definitely use more active users. I think I posted in it once and keep meaning to post in it again but then I go all crispy and serious with my photos...
My photography has evolved into this abstract thing naturally and I'd say shooting macro had a big influence on that. Prior to that I never did abstract photography. It's something that evolves naturally in my experience and should not be forced. Play around and have fun, see where it goes. That's my approach. The process of creating is the best part, at least for me. It's the experience of it in the moment that is the most delicious.
You create wonderful photos and videos. Keep going and do what speaks to you. It's taken me forever to end up doing this with photography, since it was so unacceptable to do this for most of the time I've been doing photography.
