Greetings my dear art-loving friends, today I bring you a piece that came out of the darkest part of the night. Near midnight when the moon is at its highest and yet its light only reminds us of the darkness that surrounds us, we can observe the abandoned son of the moon.

Saludos mis queridos amigos amantes del arte, hoy les traigo una pieza que salió de lo más oscuro de la noche. Cerca de la media noche cuando la luna se coloca en lo más alto y aun así su luz solo nos recuerda la oscuridad nos rodea, podremos observar al hijo abandonado de la luna.

Consumed by the darkness that surrounds the nocturnal environment in which he was conceived and destroyed, is found in its purest form the essence of the abandoned son who waits for his mother to gently raise him from the cold and silent floor to which he was condemned to eternity by the simple fact of being born...

Consumido por la oscuridad que rodea el nocturno ambiente en el cual fue concebido y destruido, se encuentra en su forma más pura la esencia del hijo abandonado el cual espera que su madre gentilmente lo levante del frio y silencioso piso al cual fue condenado a la eternidad por el simple hecho de nacer…

I tried to do something with color... but why lie to us... at night you can only see the different tones that black can have... so here we have the most monochromatic painting I have done so far. Maybe with a touch of nostalgia, but with the hope that you will appreciate it.

Intente hacer algo con el color… pero para que mentirnos… de noche solo se ve los distintos tonos que puede tener el negro… así que acá tenemos la pintura más monocromática que he realizado hasta el momento. Quizás con un dejo de nostalgia, pero con la esperanza de que la aprecien.

To make this piece I made a simple sketch of a skull wrapped in flames, then with the idea a little clearer of what I wanted to do I began to define the lines I wanted to use and add weft in the places where I saw more or less intense shadows. Then with the skull already defined as well as the flames I moved the skull to the right to give a little air to the skull to appreciate a beautiful full moon... at this point the flames in black and white I loved and the black background gave a look that I loved. So I adapted the background with some lines to give a bit of an eerie perspective (because of the slant of the horizon line). I added as the last details, some grass and the moon emitting a soft but constant flash of light.

Para hacer esta pieza realice un boceto simple de un cráneo envuelto en llamas, luego con la idea un poco más clara de lo que quería hacer comencé a definir las líneas que quería usar y agregar trama en los lugares donde veía sombras más o menos intensas. Luego con el cráneo ya definido al igual que las llamas moví el cráneo a la derecha para dar un poco de aire a la calavera para que apreciara a una hermosa luna llena… en este punto las flamas en blanco y negro me encantó y el fondo negro dio un aspecto que me encanto. Así que el fondo lo adapte con algunas líneas que dieran un poco de perspectiva inquietante (por la inclinación de la línea del horizonte). Agregue como los últimos detalles, un poco de césped y la luna emitiendo un suave pero constante destello de luz.

Espero que la pieza les hiciera sentir algo… o por lo menos lograran adentrarse a lo solo y frio del ambiente a pesar del fuego… los quiere @shirahoshi y los espero en un próximo post.
