Trippy Thursday - Alien Rideshare

Here is an alien rideshare for #trippythursday by @blacklux

Here is a vintage scout craft called to a backwoods planet by a wayward light being.

This is a rural planet with low 1000g coverage so the only signal that could call the rideshare was ham radio. Thus a 1950s era vintage scout craft was the only driver to get a call to pickup this hillbilly.

Fortunately the scout craft just got tuned up to various atmospheres at the local wormhole mechanic depot. You have to put them through various fractal radiation stress tests to make sure they don't end up crashed on earth somewhere in New Mexico.

The integrity of the metal alloy all checks out as well. This antique is ready for action.

Everything is vintage on this craft except for the tractor beam. It has been outfitted with the latest starburst technology to make sure those nasty cattle mutilation explosions don't accidentally happen to various customers.

volcano1_copy.jpg
The ship can manifest a pretty powerful gravity field to keep it hovering in place while picking up its guests. Gotta keep those 5 stars in place on the app.

circlehighlight_copy.jpg
The vintage static accelerator is one of the only ones left working. It is a rather chaotic form of electricity that can cause the ship to shoot instantaneously to a location around a hundred feet away. This is useful for escaping primitive lead projectiles from ape-like creatures.

eye_copy.jpg
This particular alien customer has an electricity aura that is dangerous to most other lifeforms so the ship's captain will need to be sure to bring out his lead suit during transit.

The ship has also been refueled with the latest plasma energy, this should last for about another 1,000 years or so.

pineneedles_copy.jpg
The plant life on this particular planet is all poisonous with needles that contain toxins that will cause you to pass out.

feather2_copy.jpg
The only thing that can counteract this toxin is purple light radiation that causes the molecules to breakdown before they get into your body. The only side effect is a gas that causes hallucinations.

chamber2_copy.jpg
Most people who inhale too much of this gas will see purple fractal domes. The effect lasts for about 200 years with flashbacks happening randomly, especially during business interviews. Such are the risks for an intergalactic rideshare driver.

Happy #trippythursday :-)

Awesome work!!

Thanks, its fun just zoning out and adding subtracting various textures to a concept.

Love it!! Whole thing is cool!

I'll have to try a Nimitz craft next week, these are the more modern ufo model that can go underwater.

I love your art and how you tell the background story of a piece! Awesome artwork! And thanks for sharing the details and frames and different parts of it :)

Thanks for looking. I just sort of render a bunch of different textures and see if they spark any idea for a composition later on.

I knew you were from a Alien planet can i hitch a ride with you next time you head home love to see what is over the other side of the universe 🤣

Next stop alpha centauri just beware the crystaline entity.

Ahhhh, coooool PM me the details...Cheers 👍

I like how you brought attention to the cattle mutilation that has been suspected to be done by aliens.

”It has been outfitted with the latest starburst technology to make sure those nasty cattle mutilation explosions don't accidentally happen to various customers.”

It was all just glitchy tractor beam technology.

WOW! Just WOW! This is just simply freakin OUTSTANDING!
I can't tell you just how much I love it!
The colours (ofcourse.the colours...lol..) the concept, the storyline- everything!
I wish Roswell hadv'e looked like that when I was there! I would never have left if it did!

I've been to roswell a few times driving through to texas. Pretty desolate area. It needs a few red aliens walking around the downtown area to spice it up.

AND purple too!
And pink, orange, blue and yellow wouldn't go astray either! lol...

Did you put any of those images on NFT showroom yet? (cause if you did, I buy one...)

Actually I'd buy 2....

I have to figure out the hive swap thing, buuut eventually I'll get something on nft showroom since I'm approved now lol.

Oh cool! Congratulations!
Well I can't wait o be able to buy a file and get it printed out so I can stick it up on my wall. Have you thought about Redbubble or Fine Art America. I would love to see them on wall hangings...

I'll look into those, I made these pretty high res so they can probably print to poster size.
