Great Old One Priest - Miniature Design

in Alien Art Hive2 years ago

The Great Old One is awake!

It is a variation on the previous Cthulhu design I made.
I have reposed the character, changed his head and added a few small details.
This one just woke up from his lethargy and is ready to begin his reign of unspeakable madness.

amazing !!!!

Thank you!

but this is a wonderful job !! The compliments! You could also print it with a 3D printer and paint it

Thanks so much! Yes, I print most of my models. I don't do a lot of painting but I love to watch other people painting them.

This one turned out really cool!

Glad you like it! It has a meaner face than my last Cthulhu, I think it fits him :>

yoo these are so cool! ive started using blender and my computer cant handle it but making alien models is so much fun

Thanks! Yes Blender is definitely my favorite program. Sorry to hear that you have issues running it. Maybe try one of the older versions, you can download legacy versions from their website.

Thanks for the tip! I think it may be that I just don't know how to use it properly... it runs well until I have a decent model going, have a feel it's something to do with texture and quality while modeling

No worries. I'd like to help more, but it's hard to tell anything without knowing your configuration. Maybe ask at https://blenderartists.org/ they should be able to help you there.
