Greetings dear community of Hive.blog, I come again to bring you another post of art for the splinterlands contest, this week has been a little difficult for me because these days I had a problem l with the company that provides internet, I spent about 4 days without internet connection, I was practically incommunicado all this time, but even so I gave myself the task of advancing the drawing of this week for the contest, this time I chose the character of Enchanted Pixie, a small and adorable fairy which I turned into an adult version of her.
Next I show you the step by step of the development of the illustration.
Saludos querida comunidad de Hive.blog, vengo nuevamente a traerles otro post de arte para el concurso de splinterlands, esta semana ha sido un poco difícil para mi ya que en estos días tuve un problema con la compañía que suministra internet, pase aproximadamente unos 4 días sin conexión de internet, prácticamente estaba incomunicado todo este tiempo, pero aun así me di en la tarea de adelantar el dibujo de esta semana para el concurso, en esta ocasión elegí al personaje de Enchanted Pixie, una pequeña y adorable hada la cual la convertí en una versión adulta de ella.
A continuación les muestro el paso a paso del desarrollo de la ilustración.
Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️
Taking as reference the photos that were presented, I made a semi-realistic adaptation of the "Enchanted Pixie", keeping certain animated and fantasy details that characterizes the original character, for the development and ease of it, I divided it into several sections, such as body, hair, clothing, wings and background, each painted separately to be able to apply the different effects and textures more comfortably.
Tomando como referencia las fotos que se presentó, realice una adaptación semirealista de la “Enchanted Pixie”, manteniendo ciertos detalles animados y fantasiosos que caracteriza al personaje original, para el desarrollo y facilidad del mismo, lo dividí en varias secciones, como fueron cuerpo, cabello, vestimenta, alas y fondo, cada una pintadas por separado para poder aplicarle con mayor comodidad los diferentes efectos y texturas.
First I made a sketch of a beautiful girl in a position that resembled flight, I designed the wings AND the dress, once I got the sketch as I wanted it I applied different shades of gray to each section of the drawing.
Primeramente realice el boceto de una hermosa chica en una posición que asemejaba el vuelo, diseñé las alas Y el vestido, una vez obtenido el boceto como lo quería aplique diferentes tonalidades de grises a cada sección del dibujo.

In this step I was lightly shading the drawing, to achieve volume in it, for this action I used an airbrush and I was lowering the brightness little by little in each pass. As I don't usually make full body characters, I like to detail the face first, the expression that it has and then develop other areas.
En este paso fui sombreando levemente el dibujo, para ir logrando volumen en el mismo, para esta acción use un pincel aerógrafo y fui bajando el brillo poco a poco en cada pasada. Como no suelo realizar personajes de cuerpo completo primero me gusta detallando bien el rostro la expresión que tenga para luego desarrollar otras áreas.

We continue detailing our drawing, as I mentioned before I separate the drawing by sections and each section I draw them separately, I apply layers of shadows and shines and then place textures, I repeat this process in the clothes, wings and hair, until I get the desired result.
Seguimos detallando nuestro dibujo, como les comente antes el dibujo lo separo por secciones y cada sección voy dibujándolas por separado, aplico capas de sombras y brillos para luego colocarle texturas, este proceso lo repito en la vestimentas, alas y cabello, hasta obtener el resultado deseado.

Now we start with the painting of our drawing we use different mixing methods, among which we can name, color overlay, multiply and add. As I apply color, I play with different shades and layers until I get the desired result. I also recommend you to play with the color curve that helps to adjust the values in the design. For the background, the process was a little complicated because I didn't have a clear idea of what I wanted, so I started to experiment and play with some brushes, until I got the result you can see, which I liked.
Ahora empezamos con el pintado de nuestro dibujo usamos distintos métodos de mezcla, entre los cuales podemos nombrar, superposición de color, multiplicar y añadir. A medida que aplico color, voy jugando con diferentes tonalidades y capas hasta obtener el resultado deseado. También les recomiendo jugar con la curva de colores eso ayuda a ajustar los valores en el diseño. Para el fondo se me complico un poco el proceso ya que no tenía una idea muy clara de lo que quería, entonces me puse a experimentar y jugar con algunos pinceles, hasta que di con el resultado que pueden ver el cual me gusto.
