Hello everyone dear community, I comment this character that I bring to you next is a fan art of a splinterlands card called WOOD NYMPH, I dedicated this adaptation to participate in the social media section that they perform, the reason for choosing this card was to practice a new skin tone, in this case I wanted to represent the nymph with a more humanoid style, but adding touches of green tones to be a little more faithful to the reference image, but adding touches of green tones to be a little more faithful to the reference image, as it is difficult for me this type of work at the beginning I did not know very well how the design was going to be, but as I progressed in the work I was convinced even more this idea, my advice is to finish the drawings no matter if the drawing is looking good, at the end maybe you will be surprised.

Hola a todos querida comunidad, les comento este personaje que les traigo a continuación se trata de un fan art de una carta de splinterlands llamada WOOD NYMPH, esta adaptación la dediqué para participar en la sección social media que ellos realizan, el motivo de elegir esta carta fue el practicar una tonalidad nueva de piel, en este caso quería representar a la ninfa con un estilo más humanoide, pero agregándole toques de tonalidades verdes para ser un poco más fiel a la imagen de referencia, como se me dificulta este tipos de trabajos al inicio no sabía muy bien como me iba a quedar el diseño, pero a medida que avanzaba en el trabajo me iba convenciendo aún más esta idea, mi consejo es terminen los dibujos sin importar si les esta quedando bien el dibujo, al final quizás se lleven una sorpresa.
A continuación les muestro el paso a paso del desarrollo de la ilustración.

A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree. The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open. From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite. These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumün in a frenzy of mischief.
Un peculiar brote nuevo apareció en las puntas de las ramas más altas del Árbol Saúco. Los animales que vivían en el árbol observaron cómo crecían los extraños brotes y, en cuestión de días, se abrieron. De cada brote brotó un pequeño duendecillo. Estas ninfas del bosque se dispersaron rápidamente por Anumün en un frenesí de travesuras.
As I mentioned before I created the nymph under a humanoid style, using a main color palette for her skin with beige and pink tones, I started with placing these colors and adding some areas of shadows and cold shines, as I progressed with the drawing, I was mixing these colors, once I got a smooth result, I added the greenish tones using the method of mixing soft light, this process was slow and in parts, as I noticed that the green was "staining" much of the drawing and did not look good. In these steps I took the opportunity to detail a little more the expression of the face and accentuate more the shadows of the face.
Como mencioné antes cree la ninfa bajo un estilo humanoide, usando una paleta de color principal para su piel con tonalidades beiges y rosas, empecé con colocar dichos colores y agregar algunas zonas de sombras y brillos fríos, a medida que iba avanzando con el dibujo, fui mezclando dichos colores, una vez que obtuve un resultado suave, agregué las tonalidades verdosas usando el método de mezcla luz suave, este proceso fue lento y por partes, ya que notaba que el verde estaba "manchando" mucho el dibujo y no se veía bien. En estos pasos aproveche a detallar un poco más la expresión del rostro y acentuar más las sombras del rostro.

I continued working on the face of the nymph, usually I like to leave this step to the end, but since I was anxious to see how the character would look like I decided to finish this part first, here I put some eyeliner on the eyes and with a watery skin I painted as if the eyeliner was cut, this to simulate the black eyes that characterize the nymph, this to simulate the black eyes that characterize the nymph, I loved this detail because it gives a gloomy touch to the character, then I was finishing the hair, adding lights between blue and red on both sides of the work, I also did it for her clothes, where I chose the colors based on the original drawing. Finally I chose a dark background to enhance the character and added small drops around her to further embellish the work.
Segui trabajando en el rostro de la ninfa, por lo general me gusta dejar este paso al final, pero ya que estaba ansioso por ver como quedaría el personaje decidí terminar primero está parte, acá le coloque algo de delineado a los ojos y con un piel acuoso pinte como si se le corriese dicho delineado, esto para simular los ojos negros que caracterizan a la ninfa, este detalle me encanto porque le da un toque lúgubre al personaje, seguidamente fui terminando el cabello, agregándole luces entre azules y rojas en ambos lados de la obra, también lo realice para su ropa, donde elegí los colores basándome en el dibujo original. Para finalizar elegí un fondo oscuro para realzar al personaje y le agregué pequeñas gotas alrededor de ella para adornar aún más la obra.
