I made this typeface for Miaucita, an interpreter and sex worker.
She wanted a piece that reflected some violence and at the same time erotic tenderness.
From there, analyzing her work and taking into account the geographic and social context in which she works, I decided to work on a nocturnal, cyborgpunk aesthetic and as always using glitch, noise and error as a driving vehicle.

Ella quería una pieza que reflejara algo de violencia y al mismo tiempo ternura erótica.
A partir de ahí, analizando su trabajo y teniendo en cuenta el contexto geográfico y social en el que trabaja, decidí trabajar en una estética nocturna, cyborgpunk y como siempre utilizando glitch, ruido y error como vehículo de conducción.
I don't work essentially in design. I make images and look for things within them, in their dialogue, in the collision of one with the other, mixing shapes and figures.
For this work I started from a digital composition, and from there I searched, selected and isolated the elements that made up the final typography.
This will be used as a logo, as a signature, as a piece for animation and video plates, and even as a profile or cover image.
The important thing is that beyond its use, the piece can retain its identity.
No trabajo esencialmente en diseño. Hago imágenes y busco cosas dentro de ellas, en su diálogo, en el choque de unas con otras, mezclando formas y figuras.
Para este trabajo partí de una composición digital, y desde allí busqué, seleccioné y aislé los elementos que componen la tipografía final.
Esta pieza se utilizará como logo, como firma, como pieza para placas de animación y video, e incluso como imagen de perfil o de portada.
Lo importante es que más allá de su uso, la tipo pueda conservar su identidad.
