Espero estén teniendo un muy buen feliz fin de semana, hace unos días mostré un adelante de el coloreado de esta ilustración en la Publicación con las últimas ilustraciones del Inkgris, estaba muy emocionada con el resultado lineal de este dibujo y no pude evitar empezar a colorear de inmediato, les mostraré algunas capturas del proceso, espero que lo disfruten💕
Greetings everyone! I hope you are having a very good happy week, a few days ago I showed a preview of the coloring of this illustration in the post with the last illustrations of Inkgris, I was very excited with the linear result of this drawing and I couldn't help but start coloring right away, I will show you some screenshots of the process, I hope you enjoy it💕.
La verdad es que apenas estoy comenzando a realizar esta ilustraciones en las que intento incorporar algo de dinamismo en las poses de los personajes, desde que supe que esta palabra estaba en la lista tenía un poco claro la composición y use varias referencias sobre todo para el vampiro que cuelga del árbol, para la bruja todo fue más claro y no he usado referencias externas.
The truth is that I'm just starting to make this illustrations in which I try to incorporate some dynamism in the poses of the characters, since I knew that this word was on the list I had a little clear the composition and used several references especially for the vampire hanging from the tree, for the witch everything was clearer and I have not used external references.
Para comenzar el coloreado lo primero que hice fue colocar los colores bases en toda la ilustración, añ ser un paisaje en medio del bosque estaba en su mayoría dominado por el colore verde, así que intente colocar colores un poco contrastantes pero armónicos a los personajes principales. Luego comencé a colocar luces y sobras sobre la piel.
To begin the coloring the first thing I did was to place the base colors throughout the illustration, since it was a landscape in the middle of the forest it was mostly dominated by green, so I tried to place contrasting but harmonious colors to the main characters. Then I started to place lights and leftovers on the skin.
Luego tomé un pincel con efecto al agua para mezclar los tonos que había colocado previamente y procedí a agregar los diferentes tonos en también en la ropa de los personajes y en el gatito en el hombro de la bruja.
Then I took a water-based brush to mix the tones I had previously placed and proceeded to add the different tones also on the characters' clothes and on the kitten on the witch's shoulder.
Así mismo repetí el mismo proceso en los árboles del fondo, a los cuales les he dibujado estas formas curvas para dar el efecto de frondoso follaje, finalmente creo que he invertido más tiempo en el fondo que en los personajes pero me gustó mucho como ambos se integran de manera muy armónica.
I also repeated the same process in the trees in the background, to which I have drawn these curved shapes to give the effect of lush foliage, finally I think I have invested more time in the background than in the characters but I really liked how both are integrated in a very harmonious way.
El último paso fue agregar unas luces del ambiente, la luz que se logra colar entre las ramas de los árboles fue mi detalle favorito, en general he disfrutado mucho coloreando esta ilustración, que forman parte de una historia, este es el primer encuentro entre la bruja y el vampiro que apareció ante ella de la manera más sorpresiva posible...
The last step was to add some ambient lights, the light that manages to sneak between the branches of the trees was my favorite detail, in general I really enjoyed coloring this illustration, which are part of a story, this is the first meeting between the witch and the vampire that appeared before her in the most surprising way possible...
