Hola de nuevo queridos amigos de Splinterlands!
Feliz inicio de semana para todos! el dia de hoy ve venido a presentar una nueva entrada al Concurso de Arte de Splinterlands, en esta oportunidad me he decidido por Virid Venomancer son una clase de Orcos con la habilidad de dominar el veneno y usarlo en batalla en contra de sus enemigos, ellos en lugar de báculos empuñan serpientes y conjuran hechizos infundidos de veneno que disparan a traves de sus colmillos, esta magia tiene la habilidad de perdurabilidad y hace que los enemigos se ralenticen y sus musculos se engarroten, a continuación les mostrare el proceso de ilustración de este peligroso personaje espero me acompañen.
Hello again, dear Splinterlands friends!
Happy start to the week, everyone! Today I'm here to present a new entry to the Splinterlands Art Contest. This time I've decided on Virid Venomancer. They are a class of Orcs with the ability to master poison and use it in battle against their enemies. Instead of staffs, they wield snakes and cast poison-infused spells that shoot through their fangs. This magic has the ability to linger, slowing enemies down and stiffening their muscles. Below, I will show you the illustration process for this dangerous character. I hope you will join me.
Para esta carta quería una pose segura y desafiante, la dibuje de frente sosteniendo sus serpiente con boca abierta para disparar al masa mínimo movimiento del adversario, luego que decidí su pose procedí a dibujar sus ropas y elementos característicos de este personaje, unos de los elementos que mas me gusta de ella es su trenza con incrustaciones de restos de huesos y su ropa hecha de piel y con un estilo algo ecléctico.
Luego procedí a añadir la base de color para lo cual tome directamente los colores del arte original, luego coloque cada color en una capa diferente para proseguir con el coloreado.
For this card, I wanted a confident and defiant pose, so I drew her facing forward, holding her snake with its mouth open to strike at the slightest movement of her opponent. Once I decided on her pose, I proceeded to draw her clothes and characteristic features. One of the elements I like most about her is her braid encrusted with bone fragments and her somewhat eclectic leather clothing.
Then I proceeded to add the base color, for which I took the colors directly from the original artwork, then placed each color on a different layer to continue with the coloring.
Lo siguiente fue el coloreado, comencé añadiendo algunos tonos de sombra sobre el rostro para lograr un efecto de volumen y luego comencé a colorear sus ojos con iris naranjas y luego el interior de su boca y sus feroces y amenazante dentadura, a pesar de su fiera apariencia quería que pareciera también algo tierna y coloree sus mejillas de rosa.
Luego comencé a definir su cabello, para ello use tonos un poco mas violetas para definir las zonas mas oscuras u tonos mas cercanos al amarillo para las luces, definí después la piel de su falda, pinte en primer la parte interna con un tono degradado mas oscuro que el tono original y para la parte exterior hice algunos trazos para simular la textura peluda del la piel.
Next came the coloring. I started by adding some shades of shadow to the face to achieve a volume effect, and then I began coloring her eyes with orange irises, followed by the inside of her mouth and her fierce, threatening teeth. Despite her fierce appearance, I wanted her to look somewhat tender as well, so I colored her cheeks pink.
Then I began to define her hair, using slightly more violet tones to define the darker areas and tones closer to yellow for the highlights. I then defined the skin on her skirt, first painting the inside with a darker shade than the original tone and then making some strokes on the outside to simulate the hairy texture of the skin.
Pinte luego las pieles en la parte superior de su ropa, esta compuesta de una pequeña pieza de dos materiales, una peluda y otra mas rígida, hecho esto definí los huesos entre su pelo y le pinte las cintas rojas atadas en cada unos de ellos, seguidamente comencé a definir la serpiente que empuña en su mano, y si antes me parecía tierna luego de pintarla me encanto mucho mas.
Comencé después a definir el suelo bajo sus pies, pinte grama verde y algunas rocas formando una caminerias que se extiende hasta hacia atrás d la protagonista de esta ilustración, pensaba hacer solo un nivel pero extendí el suelo detrás y en el fondo dibuje algunos monolitos de piedra de formas irregulares y alargadas.
Then I painted the fur on top of her clothes, which is made up of two small pieces of material, one furry and the other more rigid. Once that was done, I defined the bones between her hair and painted the red ribbons tied to each one. Next, I began to define the snake she is holding in her hand, and if it seemed cute to me before, after painting it I loved it even more.
I then began to define the ground beneath her feet, painting green grass and some rocks forming a path that extends behind the protagonist of this illustration. I had planned to do only one level, but I extended the ground behind her and drew some irregularly shaped, elongated stone monoliths in the background.
Y cuando pensé que había terminado olvide hacerle el maquillaje de guerra sobre su piel, así que tome un tono de rojo y comencé a dibujar las formas evidentes en el arte original de Splinterlands, este tinte rojo le dio un toque mas de ferocidad al personaje y elevo mucho mas el interés sobre su rostro y me gusto mucha mas, para finalizar añadí algunas luces y estuvo listo este nueva ilustración basado en el universo de Splinterlands, espero haya sido de su agrado!
And when I thought I was done, I forgot to apply the war paint to his skin, so I took a shade of red and began to draw the obvious shapes in the original Splinterlands artwork. This red tint gave the character a touch more ferocity and drew much more interest to his face, which I liked much better. To finish, I added some highlights, and this new illustration based on the Splinterlands universe was ready. I hope you like it!
