I just wrote fancy guides about recovery two and three weeks ago before this all happened.
With Tron / Steemit not even making new accounts, if your recovery is Steem....doubful they will help you.
So extra vital to change now as it take 30 days !
so we just set recover account to be a witness who we trust the most?
Unfortunately that's not that easy.
Assuming that you trust me, I still have no idea who you are and how to tell if that's you tho who will be requesting account recovery, or an impostor who says is you.
Best choice is a person who is trusted and can verify your real identity using secure communication channels.

yay i would suggest witnesses that are active, so if ever get hacked, can get recovered within 7 days

Personally I would change to someone who isn't a steem noob, can verify your id, and best case knows you in real life.

Oh no. Get some subtle Steem merchandise, you never know who else is a Steemer in real life.
So are we saying if the recovery account is steem, it can be taken over by tron group ? And ultimately they will have also a recovery account as steem ?
hey, I didn't say that, but these few days they seems quite busy, that twitter case wasn't able to be fixed by steeminc accounts apparently. So to be sure...
