Thanks to recent events, I have become more aware of what the principles of a decentralized blockchain are. I don't want to go into what happened, but we will take a closer look at these principles and try to find out where they originated...
Principles are based on the knowledge of interrelations
Principles are not arbitrary. They are not a quick and easy argumentation aid to assert oneself. If you make something out of principle, you should explain the basis of this principle so that everyone can understand the context.
Sometimes it also happens that you have a principle that is based on false beliefs. Therefore you should always question your own beliefs. You weigh one principle against another. If you explain your principles, you can see through the following discussion whether you have based your principles on false beliefs.
Only if you can admit this to yourself will you reorient these principles (and this time perhaps better?). So having the right principles automatically means greater success!
Ray Dalio recognized this and wrote a book called "Principles". It is actually considered by many to be the Bible of success because his principles made him one of the richest people in the world!
For example, when it comes to blockchains, you might want to ask yourself:
"What is more important? The property of one, or the property of all?"
Ownership itself is based on principles. Very important principles such as freedom and security. But if you value the property of one person more than everyone else, that automatically leads to injustice.
So, of course, the answer to that question is clear. The property of all is more important than that of anyone person. Because if an individual has so much property that he can endanger the property of all, one should pay special attention to his property and his actions and, in an emergency, give priority to the security of everyone's property. If one understands this principle, it is only logical to freeze the property of the individual as a precaution and to protect all other participants before he or she causes great harm.
In particularly threatening scenarios, it is sometimes legitimate to say "Shoot first, ask later! Because once you are dead, you cannot shoot back. And you don't have to shoot the deadly shot yourself. The whole thing was just symbolic of course, but I think you understand that.

The Blockchain never forgets anything! If it did, then there would be the danger that contributions and especially amounts would simply disappear. Exactly this principle is still the easiest to understand and for many a reason to be interested in blockchains.
The pioneer principle...
Pioneers are pathfinders. They take a high risk, but have a greater chance of success. We are all pioneers on this or other blockchains because we work with new technology. A technology that has not yet been clearly defined and dealt with in case law. The danger for us is that the jurisprudence does not understand this technology properly and wants to apply the wrong principles and legal bases to it.
That we are pioneers and have a high risk should be clear before the law
This should not be forgotten, also looking back on the Steemit/Hive story. Because in case of doubt it means that Justin, or other people who want to claim e.g. copyright, are in a lost position. After all, they should know where they published their content, and that you can fork/copy open-source blockchains.
This is the underlying technology. And also Justin (I will mention this topic only briefly and exemplary) should know that he entrusted his coins to the Witnesses, and they should be able to decide in case of doubt if and how to use these coins. Just because this has never happened before doesn't mean that it will never happen.

Due to technical and physical limitations, it is difficult to reconcile the two principles of speed and decentralization. Therefore one has to weigh these two principles against each other.
If one were to judge decentralization as very high and important, speed would suffer. With Hive we tried to find a middle ground by limiting decentralization to 20 active Witnesses.
If this decentralization is threatened, it is up to the users to distribute their votes differently. This solves this problem again, although decentralization is only possible to a limited extent.
The principle of appreciation
Users come to the social blockchain because they have understood some or perhaps all of these principles. Appreciation can take place in many ways. Of course, it is also important for users to be able to discover many other users. And of course, it also depends on how the users of a network interact with each other. On Hive, the rewards attract and the downvotes are feared. That's why users here behave (in my opinion) more friendly than elsewhere. So there are a lot of factors that influence the appreciation and even these can be influenced by code (possibility of reward and punishment).
The principle of protest
Protest is a way of expressing one's opinion when all other forms of communication are no longer effective. You can also protest on blockchains and this is even better possible here than in other social networks. Because central networks have the control to stop these protests effectively. So the blockchain offers the user many advantages.
And with this, I admit openly and honestly that I also show my "appreciation" on Steem. Even if perhaps differently than some now think. Normally I would not do something like this. But I have thrown my principle (to make an effort) on the Steem Blockchain overboard. Because of the other principles I have (educating people, doing good and right things, sharing my knowledge and uphold the principles of the Blockchain) are more important.
Therefore I decided to use this form of protest, because after some contributions and discussions there are still people there who don't (don't want to?) understand this. My protest is also for them and their wrong principles. They seem to think that the property of one person is more important than the property of all.

Prinzipien basieren auf dem Wissen über zusammenhänge
Prinzipien sind nichts willkürliches. Sie sind keine schnelle und einfache argumentationshilfe um sich durchzusetzen. Wenn man etwas aus Prinzip macht, sollte man die Grundlage dieses Prinzips auch erklären, damit jeder den Zusammenhang verstehen kann.
Manchmal kommt es auch vor, dass man ein Prinzip hat, dass auf falschen Glaubenssätzen beruht. Daher sollte man immer wieder seinen eigenen Glaubenssätze hinterfragen. Man wiegt das eine Prinzip mit dem anderen ab. Erklärt man seine Prinzipien, kann man durch die darauf folgende Diskussion erkennen, ob man seinen Prinzipien vielleicht falsche Glaubenssätze zugrunde gelegt hat.
Nur wenn man sich das eingestehen kann, wird man diese Prinzipien neu (und diesmal vielleicht besser?) ausrichten. Die richtigen Prinzipien zu haben, bedeuten also automatisch größeren Erfolg!
Das hat Ray Dalio erkannt, und ein Buch namens "Principles" geschrieben. Es wird von vielen tatsächlich als Bibel des Erfolgs betrachtet, denn seine Prinzipien machten ihn zu einem der reichsten Menschen der Welt!
Wenn es um Blockchains geht, sollte man sich zum Beispiel die Frage stellen:
"Was ist wichtiger? Das Eigentum eines einzelnen, oder das von allen?"
Eigentum an sich basiert auf Prinzipien. Sehr wichtigen Prinzipien wie z.B. Freiheit und Sicherheit. Aber wenn man das Eigentum eines Einzelnen höher bewertet, als das von allen anderen, führt das automatisch zu unrecht.
Natürlich ist die Antwort auf die Frage deshalb klar. Das Eigentum aller ist wichtiger als das eines Einzelnen. Denn wenn ein Einzelner so viel Eigentum hat, dass er damit das Eigentum aller gefährden kann, sollte man auf sein Eigentum und seine Aktionen besonders aufpassen und im Notfall die Sicherheit des Eigentums aller vorziehen. Versteht man dieses Prinzip, ist es nur logisch, wenn man das Eigentum des Einzelnen vorsorglich und zum Schutz aller anderen Teilnehmer einfriert, bevor derjenige damit großes Unheil anrichtet.
In besonders bedrohlichen Szenarien ist es manchmal auch legitim zu sagen "Zuerst Schiessen, dann fragen!". Denn wenn man tot ist, kann man nicht mehr zurückschiessen. Und man selbst muss auch nicht gleich den tödlichen Schuss setzen. Das ganze war natürlich nur sinnbildlich aber ich denke das versteht ihr.

Auch hier ist die Antwort klar. Die Freiheit der Menschen ist dem Erfolg eines Unternehmens unterzuordnen. Außer natürlich man möchte ein guter Sklave oder Arschkriecher sein und wettet auf den Erfolg dieses Unternehmens. ;)
Das Prinzip der unzensierbarkeit
Natürlich muss man sich die Frage stellen, weshalb man diese unzensierbarkeit braucht. Die antwort darauf ist eine prinzipielle. Zum einen um Unrecht zu verhindern und zum anderen um die Wallets der User sicher zu machen.
Die Blockchain vergisst nichts! Würde sie das, dann bestünde die Gefahr, dass Beiträge und vorallem Beträge einfach verschwinden. Genau dieses Prinzip ist noch am einfachsten zu verstehen und für viele ein Grund, sich für Blockchains zu interessieren.
Das Prinzip der Pioniere
Pioniere sind Wegbereiter. Sie gehen ein hohes Risiko ein, haben aber dafür aber größere Aussichten auf Erfolg. Wir alle sind Pioniere auf dieser oder anderen Blockchains, da wir mit einer neuen Technologie arbeiten. Eine Technologie die unter anderem in der Rechtsprechung noch nicht klar definiert und behandelt wurde. Die Gefahr für uns besteht darin, dass die Rechtsprechung diese Technologie nicht richtig versteht und die falschen Prinzipien und Rechtsgrundlagen darauf anwenden will.
Dass wir Pioniere sind und ein hohes Risiko haben, sollte vor dem Gesetz allerdings klar sein
Das sollte man, auch rückblickend auf die Steemit/Hive Geschichte, nicht vergessen. Denn es bedeutet im Zweifelsfall, dass Justin, oder andere Leute, die z.B. Copyright ansprüche geltend machen wollen, auf verlorenem Posten stehen. Schliesslich sollten sie wissen wo sie ihren Content veröffentlicht haben, und dass man open Source Blockchains Forken / kopieren kann.

Für mich ist es Wertschätzung, wenn man guten Content veröffentlicht. Für den Schreiber besteht die Möglichkeit, diese Wertschätzung in Form von Kommentaren, Resteems und Upvotes zu zeigen. Natürlich ist es für User auch wichtig, viele andere User entdecken zu können.
Und es kommt natürlich auch darauf an, wie die User eines Netzwerks miteinander umgehen. Auf Hive locken die Rewards und man fürchtet die Downvotes. Daher verhalten sich User hier (meiner Meinung nach) freundlicher als anderswo. Es sind also sehr viele Faktoren, die die Wertschätzung beeinflussen und sogar auf diese kann man mit Code (Möglichkeit der belohnung und bestrafung) einfluss nehmen.
Das Prinzip des Protests
Protest ist eine Möglichkeit um seiner Meinung ausdruck zu verleihen wenn sämtliche andere Kommunikationsformen keine Wirkung mehr zeigen. Auch auf Blockchains kann man protestieren und dies ist hier sogar besser möglich als in anderen sozialen Netzwerken. Denn zentrale Netzwerke haben die Kontrolle diese Proteste effektiv zu unterbinden. Die Blockchain bietet dem User also viele Vorteile.
Und hiermit gebe ich offen und ehrlich zu, dass ich auch auf Steem meine Wertschätzung zeige. Wenn auch vielleicht anders als manche jetzt denken. Normalerweise würde ich sowas nicht machen. Aber ich habe mein Prinzip (mir Mühe zu geben) auf der Steem Blockchain über Bord geworfen. Denn die anderen Prinzipien die ich habe (Leute aufklären, gutes und das richtige zu tun, mein Wissen zu teilen und die Prinzipien der Blockchain zu wahren), sind höher gewichtet.
Daher habe ich mich für diese Protestform entschieden, da nach einigen Beiträgen und Diskussionen immernoch Menschen dort sind, die das nicht verstehen (wollen?). Mein Protest gilt ihnen und ihren falschen Prinzipien. Sie denken dass das Eigentum eines Einzelnen wichtiger ist, als das aller.
Dagegen protestiere ich mit Bildern von Katzen und Käse. Dieser Protest wird belohnt und dafür bin ich dankbar. Code is Law und da ich das machen kann, mache ich es auch. Nicht einfach nur weil ich es kann, sondern aus Prinzip!
