Маркдаун дозволяє наступне.
робимо текст жирним. Для цього по краям тексту поставте ** ** . Пробілів між зірочками та текстом не повинно бути .
робимо текст курсивним. Для цього по краям тексту ставимо * * .
можна робити Заголовки. Заголовків моде бути 6 видів. Для цього перед текстом ставимо #, а потім пробіл. Таких решіток може бути від 1 до 6 штук. Чим більша кількість решіток тим менший розмір тексту. Далі приклади

Так, маркдавн дуже крута штука і сильно економить час при написанні текстів не лише для блогу, а й для нотаток у спеціальних програмах. До речі, файли з розміткою маркдавн, що створені у звичайному блокноті, можна конвертувати у файл формату PDF.
