Landscape Alley is an interesting and unusual park and a place for walks. Vonl was located in the capital of Ukraine in Kyiv. If you go from the side of the National Museum of History (more precisely from the observation deck), you can go directly to this park. When we lived in Ukraine, we often came here with our children. Our children really enjoyed playing on the interesting playgrounds. On the Landscape Alley you can drink delicious coffee, eat ice cream, relax on the original benches. You can enjoy the beauty of this place and take funny photos. Our children loved to be photographed there.
Пейзажна алея це цікавий та незвичний парк та місце для прогулянок. Розташувалося воно в столиці України в місті Києві. Якщо йти зі сторони Національного музею історії (точніше від оглядового майданчика) то можна прямісінько вийти до цього парку. Коли ми жили в Україні, то дуже часто приїздили сюди разом з дітьми. Нашим дітям дуже подобалося бавитися на цікавих майданчиках. На Пейзажній алеї можна випити смачної кави, з'їсти морозиво, відпочити на оригінальних лавочках. Можна насолоджуватися красою цього місця та робити прикольні фотографії. Наші діти дуже любили там фотографуватися.
A little bit of history./Трохи з історії.
Landscape alley is built on defensive ramparts. Back in the 80s, they wanted to build the "Ancient Kyiv" complex on this place. But it did not work. Only this alley was built. Residents of nearby houses and sponsors raised money for the construction of the park. Since then, the Landscape Alley gives city dwellers and tourists pleasant walks. By the way, the alley offers very beautiful views of Podol (this is an interesting area of Kyiv. I will write about it) and the Dnieper River.
Пейзажна алея побудована на оборонних валах. Ще у 80х роках на цьому місці хотіли побудувати комплекс "Древній Київ". Але не вийшло. Побудували лише цю алею. На будівництво парку гроші збирали мешканці житлових будинків, що стоять поруч та спонсори. З тих пір Пейзажна алея дарує мешканцями міста та туристам приємні прогулянки. З алеї, доречі, відкриваються дуже гарні краєвиди на Подол (це цікавий район міста Києва. Я про нього ще напишу) та на річку Дніпро.
The idea of building such a park is very interesting. All slides and attractions in this park are made of stone and made of colorful mosaics. What is just not here. Fountains, benches in the form of spiders, benches with cats, benches with boys and huge slides.
Ідея побудови такого парку дуже цікава. Всі горки та атракціони в цьому парку кам'яні та зроблені з різнокольорової мозаїки. Чого тут тільки нема. Фонтани, лавочки у вигляді павуків, лавочки з котами, лавочки з хлопчиками та величезні горки.
One of our favorite slides is a huge cat. It is a bit strange, and in some places looks like a worm, but the exact head belongs to a cat. My husband and I also rode it. It was a lot of fun.
Одна з наших найулюбленіших горок це здоровенний кіт. Він трошки дивний, та в деяких місцях схожий на черв'яка, але голова точна належить коту. Я та мій чоловік також каталися на ній. Це було дуже весело.
There are also many sculptures on the Landscape Alley. Most of them are also stone and made of colorful mosaics. You can see here and cats, and the roof of the house, and even the hero of the fairy tale "The Little Prince".
На Пейзажній алеї є також багато скульптур. Більшість з них так само кам'яні та виготовлені з різнокольорової мозаїки. Можна побачити тут і котів, і дах будинку, і, навіть, героя казки "Маленький принц".
