Day 1993: 5 Minute Freewrite: Prompt: soda pop

This is my entry for Day 1993: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: soda pop

"Dad, what takes you so long to get me that soda pop?" Andrew reaches out to his dad who is coming from the kitchen.

"It is so near, and I am really thirsty," he added.

Nathan his dad shook his head, can't believe that he would hear that from his son.

He believes he has taught him all the manner that he knew, but somehow this is what he got back from his son.

He should remind him again about being grateful and also saying a simple thank you to someone who is lending a hand.

Nathan sat down, thinking how he should work hard back then when he was a kid, just to be able to buy some candy on the weekend when he was a kid. He knew how hard it was to get money, and how he was taught to be grateful for what he has and for others.

"Maybe I should start giving him some life lesson," his inside insisted.

"Andrew, I have some interesting and adventurous things for you to do tomorrow after school". He said to his son.
