I'm not going by train or boat, but I'm riding in a colorful truck...

At the beginning of last year, I decided to create this blog to write some life reflections with anecdotal moments that mark us as people, always primarily our relationships with family and close friends. However, during this 14-month period, I've taken on the task of writing about specific situations with my daughter, my siblings, and even with not-so-close friends, which has allowed me to vent from my inner self and express situations that happen more frequently than we imagine.

Along the way, burdens are lifted.

That's what my father used to say when he wasn't sure what would happen in the near future, something along the lines of "as long as it comes, we'll see." Over time, I've carried my boat full of stories across rivers, lakes, and seas, with the various twists and turns that life brings.

Train

Today, I have already changed my means of transportation for a truck full of vibrant colors that fill our daily lives with hope and excitement, and regardless of what people say about us, we must value ourselves and give ourselves the value we deserve as human beings, positive, risk-taking, adventurous, successful, and many other qualities that make us great.

The never-ending story with my daughter's mother, on loan from life, is now taking a backseat. The indifference between father and daughter is still latent, and checking my cell phone, I verified that her last message was on September 17, 2024, at 6:31 p.m. when she informed me: "We're already arriving in New Jersey, Daddy." It's been practically six months without communication.

I thought you were having a problem with the connection,
but I already saw that you are active on social networks,
so now I get the message
goodbye

Sometimes I think, she's my daughter, she's my blood, but then I analyze and meditate, coming to the logical conclusion that blood doesn't make us family. The same thing happened with my siblings, who destroyed the legacy of unity and respect our parents instilled in us. All of it was thrown overboard from my first boat, which is why I've decided to spend this time in a colorful truck loaded with good vibes.
