Surely all of us, or at least most of us who make up humanity these days, have had the misfortune of suffering from a bad toothache at some point in our lives.

Tomando en cuenta todo lo anterior, es inevitable pensar en lo que debió haber significado sufrir de un dolor de muelas en los tiempos antiguos.

Gracias a ello poco a poco su estado de salud mental fue mejorando bastante hasta estabilizarse por completo.

Muy similar a la anterior es el relato de otra fémina que pasó por el mismo suplicio, aunque en lugar de una muela lo que le estalló fue uno de sus colmillos.

Muchas han sido las teorías que se han barajado a lo largo de los últimos años para tratar de explicar tan insólito fenómeno.

El mismo doctor Atkinson se había aventurado bastante al decir que las explosiones de dientes se debían al “fluido calórico”, una teoría científica actualmente de desacreditada debido a la inexistencia de tal sustancia.

Sin duda alguna este es uno de esos misterios que todavía siguen sin ser explicados y se suscribe, muy merecidamente, a la lista de eventos tan fuera de lo común como lo es la combustión humana espontánea.
Undoubtedly, this is one of those mysteries that still remain unexplained and deservedly subscribes to the list of events as out of the ordinary as spontaneous human combustion.
Así que estén muy atentos por si llegan a sentir un dolor de muelas, pues no se sabe si esta en algún momento les explotará en la boca haciéndoles pasar un susto bastante desagradable, por no decir traumático.
So be very attentive in case you feel a toothache, because you don't know if it will explode in your mouth at some point, giving you a very unpleasant, not to say traumatic, fright.
