Porque jamás estarás solo,
Cuando nací me sentía el ser más indefenso del mundo, no ha cambiado mucho después de treinta años. La diferencia del día uno al día diez mil novecientos noventa y uno (hoy) es que ahora no estoy solo, algunos amigos se van y otros nuevos llegan.
Pensarás que hablo solo de amigos de cuatro patas si lo lees en Español o humanos si lo lees en Inglés juzgando por las imágenes, puedo decir que ambos inclusive.
Mis primeros verdaderos amigos han provenido del reino animal, por lo general congenio muy bien con los gatos y puedo decir que son mi compañía ideal por la serenidad que aportan, luego están los perros tan fieles como todos conocen; nobles y sinceros. Ellos siempre dispuestos a entregarte su amor de manera incondicional, qué más podría pedir cuando ellos están allí incluso para consolarme y acompañarme en mi soledad.
No soy una persona del todo asocial como podrían pensar algunas personas, la verdad es que soy más abierto de lo que parece solo que me cuesta dar el 100% a una persona sin conocer sus intenciones reales. Estas a diferencia de los animales suelen actuar más por conveniencia o intereses propios, solo el tiempo define quien es realmente vuestro amig@.
Me considero una persona honesta en todo sentido, detesto en gran medida averiguar sobre la vida de alguien que no está interesado en mostrarme nada. No soy yo al final quien decide quienes son mis amigos, prefiero dejar que las personas que me rodean me consideren su amigo y si de algún modo compartimos algún “feeling”, todo será natural y espontáneo.
Ahora bien, quisiera dar mi propia definición de lo que es un amigo y vuelvo a mis compañeros de cuatro patas. En el sentido más prístino, más real y sincero; siempre los pondré de ejemplo porque muchas veces somos nosotros más animales que ellos (hablando de instinto salvaje), son ellos los que nos demuestran muchas veces que estamos perdiendo la humanidad.
Entonces ¿cómo defino a un amigo?
“Ser fiel (en su palabra y acción), sincero, espontáneo. Un amigo es quien sin importar lo duro que pueda ser, nos muestra nuestras fallas de manera educada, cordial, invitándonos a la reflexión. Un amigo te acompaña en silencio cuando solo quieres llorar, grita de alegría cuando alcanzas una meta o te tiende la mano cuando caes al suelo.”
Entonces, ¿crees que esa persona quien llamas amigo realmente lo es?, o ese amigo siente celos de tu suerte, envidia lo que tiene o critica lo que no tienes. ¿Cuándo sabemos que una persona es real en su totalidad?, es algo difícil de diferenciar, pero no imposible, no podemos dejar todo al corazón y es por ello que muchas veces debemos ver fuera de nosotros y darle cabida a la razón para analizar algunos panoramas.
Al fin de cuenta los amigos terminan convirtiéndose en más hermano que nuestros propios hermanos, sonará duro, pero es así. Cuando encuentres un amigo 100% real no lo dejes escapar, y aunque muchas veces la distancia sea inevitable por cosas del destino, jamás lo puedas de vista, no dejes de escucharle, de leerle y de alegrarte por cada meta alcanzada.
Una vez más reafirmo que no hay amistad más real que la de nuestras mascotas, tómalos a ellos siempre de referencia, si no te gustan los animales no hay problema igual los puedes tomar de referencia para decir si realmente una persona es tu amigo.
Nunca caminarás solo en la vida, si tienes amigos, tienes familia porque de alguna manera ellos terminan siendo parte de nuestra familia.

Because you will never be alone,
When I was born I felt like the most helpless being in the world, not much has changed after thirty years. The difference from day one to day ten thousand nine hundred and ninety-one (today) is that now I am not alone, some friends are leaving and new ones are arriving.
You may think I am talking only about four-legged friends if you read it in Spanish or humans if you read it in English judging by the pictures, I can say both inclusive.
My first true friends have come from the animal kingdom, I usually get along very well with cats and I can say that they are my ideal company for the serenity they bring, then there are the dogs as faithful as everyone knows; noble and sincere. They are always ready to give you their love unconditionally, what more could I ask for when they are there even to comfort me and accompany me in my loneliness.
I am not a completely asocial person as some people might think, the truth is that I am more open than it seems, I just find it hard to give 100% to a person without knowing their real intentions. These unlike animals usually act more for convenience or self-interest, only time defines who is really your friend.
I consider myself an honest person in every way, I hate to find out about the life of someone who is not interested in showing me anything. It is not me in the end who decides who my friends are, I prefer to let the people around me consider me their friend and if somehow we share some "feeling", everything will be natural and spontaneous.
Now then, I would like to give my own definition of what a friend is and I go back to my four-legged companions. In the most pristine, most real, and sincere sense; I will always use them as an example because many times we are more animal than they are (talking about wild instinct), they are the ones who show us many times that we are losing our humanity.
*So how do I define a friend?
"To be faithful (in word and action), sincere, spontaneous. A friend is the one who, no matter how hard he may be, shows us our faults in a polite, cordial way, inviting us to reflect. A friend accompanies you in silence when you just want to cry, shouts for joy when you reach a goal, or holds your hand when you fall to the ground."
So, do you think that person you call friend really is, or that friend feels jealous of your luck, envies what he has, or criticizes what you do not have? When do we know that a person is really in its totality, it is something difficult to differentiate, but not impossible, we can not leave everything to the heart and that is why many times we must look outside ourselves and give room to reason to analyze some scenarios.
At the end of the day, friends end up becoming more of a brother than our own brothers, it may sound hard, but that's how it is. When you find a 100% real friend do not let him escape, and although many times the distance is inevitable due to fate, never let him out of your site, do not stop listening to him, reading to him, and rejoicing for each goal achieved.
Once again I reaffirm that there is no more real friendship than that of our pets, always take them as a reference, if you don't like animals there is no problem, you can also take them as a reference to say if a person is really your friend.
You will never walk alone in life, if you have friends, you have a family because somehow they end up being part of our family.

Dedico esta publicación a todos mis amigos, a mi gatita, a todas las personas que han llegado a mi vida y que sinceramente me regalaron parte de su tiempo o lo siguen haciendo. Agradezco a los que se han ido, pero aún desde la distancia me recuerdan, me escriben y me leen, porque si de algo estoy seguro; es que he tenido y tengo grandes amigos en mi vida.
Actualmente cuido de una gatita y de un cactus, puede que en otra publicación hable sobre las plantas, cuáles son las que prefiero y que significan para mí. La vida es más corta de lo que imaginamos y es menester no desperdiciar cada segundo cargando malas vibras, mucho menos cuando los astros no están de nuestro lado.
Ustedes que opinan, que agregarían quitarían de mi definición de amigos. Que tan buenos amigos consideran ser y creen que alguno de los que llaman amigo hoy día los acompañará hasta el final de sus días o viceversa.
Aunque el camino sea difícil, todo es mejor si estámos bien acompañados.

I dedicate this publication to all my friends, to my kitty, to all the people who have come into my life and who sincerely gave me part of their time or continue to do so. I thank those who are gone but still remember me from a distance, write and read me, because if I am sure of something; it is that I have had and have great friends in my life.
