Diaries of a Fluffy Rican: We need our friends and family

in Freewriters3 years ago

It's sad when people from other countries are looking at what at the U.S. is doing, and commenting on how unamerican we've been acting. Even the term unamerican is a forgotten term. Being an American came with a certain assumed level of freedom.

Granted we've been slowly declining, and this isn't something that just happen. With every day that goes by. More and more of our history and our culture is being erased. Our people are being distracted and divided. Our currency has almost completely been drained of it's value. Our rights are slowly being turned into privileges, and our sense of community seems like a thing of the past.

We need to rebuild our communities. Regain that sense of neighborhoods. With the direction our country is heading. We need our friends and family more then ever. Though the media keeps offering us more reasons to be afraid. We don't have to accept what they're offering. Let's reconnect with our families. Take some time to appreciate what we still have. Revisit out priorities, and compare them to how we've been living. It's not late.

You know that happens everywhere? Everywhere you look nothing is the same 💔

True it's a world wide movement. What got me was hearing from a person who lives in India. He was talking about how the things the US is doing and how Unamerican it was. It got me. The fact that values and principles are being labeled as outdated. I know this isn't anything new. If we look back well find that previous generations battled the same thing.
