A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words: The Circus

in Freewriters2 years ago

Silas, a zoologist, who developed a passion for keeping Siberian tigers in the small park he had inherited from his dad. After some years of training, he decided to use them for circus shows to enable him to have enough money to keep the park running. His usual routine for evenings was to take one of the Amur tigers out for a walk around the park and return when the sun is about to set.

He derived joy seeing new visitors visit the park and watching the show. One evening he got a message from the infocircos banning the circus show. The news troubled him. That evening, he walked with one of the Amur tiger chained as he watched the park for the last time, beside him were the equipment he had brought to the park some weeks ago to expand the circus shows.

" You should sell the tigers to the zoo to enable you to start something different" , one of his friends advised.

"I'll consider it, thank You" he said in a low voice.
