https://hive.blog/hive-161155/@slwzl/spanish-freewrite-1-de-febrero-de-2021-mensaje-diario-de-5-minutos

Muchas gracias :)

I got a belly laugh out of @cliffagreen's freewrite for the prompt pitfall. You'd think the description of a hole being dug, a hole with no apparent reason to exist other than the digger likes to dig, that the hole is not put to any purpose for nine months afterwards, or ever as far as the reader knows, would not constitute reading of much interest. But is the story simply about one big empty hand dug and never used hole? Not if @cliffagreen can help it.

Then there was @warpedpoetic's Desire which took my breath away. His imagery is spectacular such as

in my throat, a firefly sings

and

I will love myself
if i have the strength to measure my heartbeat
with my fleeing feet.

Thank you. That's a good review, so enticing that I almost have to go read myself to see what I was up to. :)
And to be mentioned alongside @warpedpoetic is a feather in my cap as well!

Ha come on. You do amazing work here. Thank you for this. I feel my worth in those words. thank you

I am showing up at the last minute with a recommendation. First, I made sure I had read all the stories that had already been mentioned, and they were all marvelous. Then I considered other recent freewrites that I have read, and which had not yet been mentioned. I would like to recommend @wandrnrose7's "The Turning Point." This is a bittersweet story about a young woman whose childhood had been marred by family addictions and conflicts. When her mother nearly died, her father had a spiritual awakening and was a completely changed person. The young woman marries a highly-respected man, and is happy at last. I love a fairy-tale ending now and then.

@uthus2k writes about the southern tradition of bringing food to the home of someone who passed on, if food was not brought the people offered their services by cleaning or doing yard work for the deceased family. When I was younger this was a common practice but I have not seen it done in the last 10 or so years. https://peakd.com/hive-161155/@uthus2k/a-dying-southern-tradition

Hello @freewritehouse
My favorite freewrite for this week is a nice and thoughtful post written by @iamjadeline
it's a recent post and it talks about "GOAL".
This year is still fresh and filled it great opportunities, many people have set there goals, even before entering into this year, but "Do you set daily goal? And have you been able to achieve them?" i guess your answer would be Yes or No.
Daily goal aren't easy to achieve, @iamjadeline finds it difficult to achieve some of her daily goals, she has a lot to deal with, she's a mother, student, a blogger and a business minded lady. definitely it won't be that easy. Same as me, as a student who is always having online classes and with limited time. Tell me what can one learn with such limited time, but still you have to grab something. Everyday i make sure i set a goal and i try to achieve them at least 75%...LOL, don't blame me.
Stay at home and working from home is so boring, but safety first. I hope we all learn to set daily goals even though we have yearly goals. But still try to, it helps a lot and makes your feel self improved.

if you wish to read @iamjadeline post here,https://hive.blog/hive-161155/@iamjadeline/goal

I would like to invite @prayzz, You can also win HBI and also learn too.
Thank you.

Hello @freewritehouse
My favorite freewrite for this week is a nice peice beautifully written by @bold-n-italics
She wrote on Tuesday's prompt and here's the Link if you would love to read it.

Her freewrite revolves around a lady who wakes up in the light of day and begin to bask in the joy of having to sleep next to an important figure in her life. She admires the physical traits of her lover as she gets more excited about his birth anniversary falling on that day. While thinking about what gift to purchase for him, she gets stuck and tempted to ask him what perfect gift he would like and his response is one which gave her an everlasting blush.
In his words: "What Gift do you give to a person who has everything ???”.

That right there is a beautiful line that made me fall in love with the freewrite. She used it in a beautiful context that could make one want to taste what love feels like. His words to his her meant that he was satisfied with having her by his side and that alone meant everything to him and in turn, places the importance of every other gift at average.

In summary, I would say that what I love about this freewrite is the fact that it conveys a wonderful message of love and assurance. The imagery was one that she set finely so that one could imagine the scene and even in realism. Her freewrite is quite descriptive and the usage of simple sentences makes it easier for a reader to understand. I give it a five!
@ubani1 kindly recommend a freewrite that you have read. You could win some hbi for yourself. Thank you.

Thank you @faith65.
I am glad you were able to perceive the feeling I attempted to express.
Cheers

Sure thing. I love to draft a meaning from every story. well done.

More than one of us have had the opportunity to teach someone else, either sporadically or professionally. For those of us who have enjoyed this noble task, it is familiar to us to identify certain scenarios that leave us all with a lesson and give us the opportunity to get to know the students a little more from a more human perspective. Well, everyone's experience is necessarily different, but there are aspects that are common, without further ado, I invite you to read the post de @isgledysduarte where she talks about some of these aspects, greetings.

I fell in love with poetry again reading this submission by @warpedpoetic
https://peakd.com/hive-161155/@warpedpoetic/desire
The imagery was so captivating and the metaphors made me stop and re-read for pure enjoyment of his literary skills a vision.
An example of this

...There are tattoos on my chest
where birds lift off. There must be magic

in a man's skin because darling i still breathe
even after you left. in my throat, a firefly sings.

Well worth a read, then re-read.

The Contest is now Closed. Look for the next one on Tuesday (Pacific Time)

Dang just missed it! My fault for being lax I suppose. Then again I have been working every day this week D:

Good luck to all entries!
