A vision according to my definition: is how we visualize ourselves in the future, it is the place where we want to get to or the goals we want to achieve, the vision gives you the idea of how you want to be in a given period of time.
When you have a vision of the future you prepare and work on the basis of achieving this vision, the vision of your future helps you to devise and design the necessary strategies to achieve long-term goals.
The visionary is always one step ahead, knows how to interpret the future in a clearer way, the visionary knows where the world is going and is able to anticipate some changes for the benefit of his vision.
When you have a clear vision of your future, or where you want to go, you don't improvise, you plan. The visionary always has a plan, knows what he wants to achieve and when he wants to achieve it.
In our particular case we have a vision of the future, we are focused on what we want to achieve, we do not improvise in what we do but we follow an elaborated planning.
Now... Every man or organization needs to have a vision of the future if he wants to be successful, he must have clear goals and work with a lot of discipline and organization to increase his probabilities of success, although this does not totally guarantee you to be successful, it will undoubtedly increase your probabilities of being successful.
Vision ensures you maintain focus and avoid distractions.
Your vision should be an achievable goal, not an unattainable dream and each step we take towards this goal should be steps that can be done with relative ease, without much complexity as they are small goals that each time we achieve will bring us closer to our ultimate goal which is the vision.
Ok I hope you have a clear vision, that you have clear objectives and goals that can be achieved and you are not taking improvised steps, after all it is about your future and it is necessary to have a vision.
