My Five Minutes of Free Writing #63 / what nasty thing could happen on such a lovely day

Hello friends, there are many things that can ruin a special day, and we can speak from our own experience, from what we have witnessed or from our own fears thinking about the things we fear will happen while enjoying a nice day.

First of all I will tell you something very recent, we went to a ministerial activity where we had a couple of wonderful days, victorious I could say and with a smile on our lips we wanted to go back home to rest and enjoy the victory.

Just when we thought that nothing could take away our happiness to get home and enjoy our success, so we got up at 4 am to get to the bus stop, listening to music, singing songs in what was a very special dawn.

The matter started to get uncomfortable when as time went by and the bus did not show up, so it was 7am and the bus that was supposed to arrive at 6am did not arrive, time went by and around 8am we got news that there were protests and the bus was blocked.

It was around 9am that we decided to start our walk to the place where a company was operating and we knew that they were taking personnel transportation from there, so we thought we could take a "ride".

The walk lasted about 2 hours and to be honest when we arrived my feet were so tired and sore that I could not stand it, that ruined our nice day, since a journey that would last between 45 and 50 minutes took us all day until after three in the afternoon that we arrived home exhausted and hungry.

Surely there are countless worse and even tragic examples of unpleasant things that can happen on a nice day, but I just wanted to share this resentful experience that totally ruined what would be a peaceful day of enjoying our victory and resting.

Let me know what you think!
