Talking about dry mouth, I certainly have my fair share of dry mouth. I used to be a camel, you know, one whom could go for hours without water. In fact, I survived for years only 500 ml per day. And magically, I wasn't looking dehydrated, no sunken eyes or other dysfunctional. Except one. Dry mouth. Oh, except two. Another one, mouth prone to ulcers. But, due to having an extremely high pain threshold, the ulcers never really bothered me, even when it up till 12 ulcers in total in my mouth. Go figure. My friends thought I was some sort of non-human to be able to withstand that sort of pain.

And of course dry mouth. But, thank goodness nobody complained of me having foul breath. I tested. Nope. My breath was fine. Haha. All of these was fron teenagers till my 20s. And when I was getting married, the make-up artist commented on my dry lips, so difficult to put the lipstick on. Lol...
However, things started to change when I got pregnant. I was told I needed to drink more water, 2000ml was the minimum and could be till 3000ml. So, I remembered when I first got pregnant, I diligently drank water hourly. Then, I was surprised to find out how plump and smooth my lips could be when I had enough water. Since then, I started to enjoy drinking water. Like the body got a reboot system.
Talking about dry mouth, I also remembered when my second son was critically ill at ICU under high ventilation, his mouth and lips were so dry. His mouth was consistently opened, leaving it dry due to the cold air at ICU and his lips cracked like nobody's business. But he was highly sedated too, couldn't do anything, so I was reminded to keep help spread coconut oil or Vaseline on his lips.

So guys, remember to drink enough water because 70% of our body is made up of water, unless you want to have a taste of how it is like to have 15 ulcers all over your gums and tongue and mouth.
