Today, my country hit the highest number of its Covid19's cases, reaching 3000 cases in a day. Everyone is in panic mode, many are fingers-pointing the government who recently opened up the interstate travel, sort of like encouraging people to travel more during this holiday season. However, government did explain if we continue to be in partial lockdown, businesses would be affected, families financial status would ve affected and eventually everyone will be stressed as well. We all know there is no one-method that suits all. This is pandemic. It is not an easy task to tackle, manage and balance. And of course, it is not easy to be government. They definitely can't please all.
Above all, we are still grateful for our life warriors — the doctors and nurses at our government hospitals who sacrifice their own's life for patients. Many of them can't even go back to their own home as they are exposed to the virus. Day in and day out, they attend to thousands of cases, and now, even our hospital has no enough space to contain all the Covid-19 patients. Government has requested to get ready our house to host our own family who is infected who covid19 and not having serious problem. Sort of like have a room to isolate the patient from the rest of the family. We are given guidelines to monitor to patient at home with fever and pain management, and only to send to hospital if patient is having difficulty in breathing, hopefully the hospital has space by then.
Pandemic.
We are in this together.
Now it's not the time to blame and point-finger who is right, who is wrong. Nothing is ideal now. We have to learn to take care of ourselves. Take care of one another. Being kind. Toss away selfishness. Each of us is a life warrior in some ways or another. We need to stay together to curb the spread.
Praying this year to be a better year. Let us rise and be the life warrior of our role in society. Each has his or her important role to play.
