El joven Jake tiene 16 años, y desde entonces, ha sido muy travieso y con malas actitudes.
Su padre, Marcelo, a decidido dejarlo a rienda suelta, aunque eso suponga sacarlo de la carcel 2 veces a la semana.
Pero para el no es importante, ya que la educación y las materiales, han hecho a un lado lo que realmente debería ser lo principal en la vida del joven.
Marcelo además ya tiene 20 años en la policía, siendo reconocido no por algún mérito honorable, más bien, los escándalos en que participa, lo hacen el ejemplo a seguir de Jake.
Además, su ejemplo de infidelidad se hace notable a simple vista, pues lleva años engañando a Lucia su esposa.
Lucía ya tiene más de 40 años, aún así, se siente como niña.
Desde hace años lleva engañando a Marcelo, quién cree que trabaja por las noches, sin embargo tiene otro derrotero.
Motivada por el rencor y el odio, no hace más que ser otro mal ejemplo para Jake, que a carencia del amor maternal que ésta pueda darle, se a rebuscado en el bajo mundo de las drogas.
Además, pasar tiempo con Jake a sido lo menos importante en su vida, por el contrario, por ahora es más importante su felicidad que incluso su propia familia.
Toda acción tiene consecuencias.
En el bar de la zona se escuchan algunos disparos, al parecer un problema por drogas y dinero a hecho que maleantes se presenten a cobrar a una mujer que les debe una cantidad alta de dinero.
Sin preguntar quién es, un joven de 16 años, saca su revolver y apunta hacía una mujer, la misma que le debe dinero, y pregunta que dónde está el dinero que les pague pronto.
Ésta solo mira hacía abajo, diciendo que no lo tiene pero que pronto lo va a cancelar, que le den tiempo.
2 disparos a quema ropa le ocasionan la muerte inmediata.
Tan pronto salen, las luces de la patrulla fuera del lugar provocan un gran tiroteo.
Marcelo dispara a discreción, aludiendo a su apodo entre compañeros ‘gatillo alegre’.
Uno de los maleantes cesa de disparar, arrojando su arma enfrente de los patrulleros, con la intención de que no lo maten.
Pero eso no le importa a Marcelo, quien solo desea añadir a uno más en su lista de ejecutados.
Boca abajo se encuentra el joven, quien pide a súplicas por su vida, aún así, sin importarle quien sea y con falta de compasión Marcelo se acerca poco a poco y de un solo disparo acaba con otro más de su lista.
Al voltear el cuerpo de la víctima, se en encontró con los ojos verdes de su hijo Jake, quien con poco aliento y con lágrimas, le decía que había sido él, quién disparo a la mujer del lugar.
Vestían de lágrimas los ojos de Marcelo, quien no solo había asesinado a alguien, sino también a su único hijo.
- Marcelo, tenemos noticias para ti- dijo un subalterno. Tienes que venir al ver el cuerpo de la mujer.
Con pocas fuerzas y en desconsuelo, se encontró con otra noticia.
Al bajar la sábana blanca, vio el cuerpo de Lucia, la mujer con quién había vivido y la madre de su único hijo Jake.
Desconsolado y traumado, Marcelo toma el álbum de recuerdos de los primero años con su familia, dónde se encontraba realmente feliz.
Y recordando a su vez, lo que sus malas decisiones provocaron, perder a su familia en su solo día.
