I can smell the aroma as I sit here thinking of the prompt for this week's ZAPFIC Monday challenge. "Coffee" is a world treat that many enjoy. I wanted to center my story around those who may not be able to enjoy this beverage for numerous reasons, including affordability. I hope you enjoy my story.

That brisk morning patrons didn't notice Otis sitting at the far end of Bela's Cafe.
Rubbing his bare hands together, he stared inside, then lowered his head onto crossed arms.
Moments later, he rose smelling java and a bagel.

Puedo oler su aroma mientras estoy aquí sentada pensando en el tema del reto ZAPFIC Monday de esta semana. El «café» es un placer universal que muchos disfrutan. Quería centrar mi historia en aquellas personas que quizá no puedan disfrutar de esta bebida por diversas razones, entre ellas el precio. Espero que os guste mi historia.

El cliente atento
Aquella fresca mañana, los clientes no se fijaron en Otis, sentado en el rincón más alejado del Bela's Cafe.
Frotándose las manos desnudas, se quedó mirando al interior y luego apoyó la cabeza sobre los brazos cruzados.
Unos instantes después, se levantó, atraído por el aroma del café y un bagel.
