As the stretcher came closer into the village gates, the villagers gathered around to find a young man wounded with an arrow stuck to his chest. He was bleeding and looked unconscious. Some wondered if he was dead while others were hopeful that he was still alive.
The elderly man called for a healer. Some villagers ran looking for the medicine man who was collecting herbs from a nearby field while some helped to carry the wounded man into the healing tent.
Nobody asked who the men were. Their main priority was to save the young man and pray that their medicine man can work his healing powers to do so.

Ouch! I never want to experience an arrow to the chest.
Me either. Even a slight cut scares me. Ouch.
Do we get a sequel?
Will the herb-gathering medicine men save the young man's life?
Who fired the arrow - will the killer(s) hunt him down and kill others?
So much packed into one small story!
