Greetings @freewriters community, this is my entry to the Micro-Fiction contest organized by @felt.buzz.
Corría velozmente por las calles de Pompeya. Por más que se esforzaba el pobre Aquiles fue alcanzado por aquel líquido viscoso y ardiente. Comenzó por su talón. Tal vez si su madre hubiese sido más cuidadosa, no estaría desvaneciéndose en diminutas partículas.
He was running fast through the streets of Pompeii. No matter how hard poor Achilles tried, he was hit by that slimy, burning liquid. It started with his heel. Maybe if his mother had been more careful, he wouldn't be fading into tiny particles.
