Genesis 1 (KJV)

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
² And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
³ And God said, Let there be light: and there was
light.
⁴ And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

It's as though,
The night comes,
And never leaves,
With it abides darkness,.
And the darkness is wide awake.

Light becomes a scarce resource,
Men left to glean,
at the ears of bleak light.
Now do not misunderstand,
The stars fail not to rise,
But yet a kind of light is amiss.

Flowers turn a new leaf,
And bloom as thorns,
Innocence stolen,
conscience in captivity,
truth in extinction.

The sun rises àt twilight,
And sets at dawn,
And it seems the clock is right-handed.
If you thought time was fleeting,
You'd now think it is fiction.

Now, the heads and tails,
Of this coined toss,
and seeming rambling,
Is that the bleak of light,
Is the world's last bit of sanity.

The Genesis of life in the masterpiece of our God. Good lines, blessings to you.

Thanks

It's good to be aware there's still light, a bit of sanity during the endless dark nights.

Thank you for sharing this. 👌
