Single Prompt Option - The Weekend Freewrite - 10/17/ - Pattern

Pattern was humming as Shallan was looking over the maps she had seen and recreating from memory.

His memory was still fragmented. So many things still slip from his mind. It was weird thinking of himself as a him. Prior to the bond he was but a mere cognitive concept but know he feels like an individual.

He remembers being drawn to the lie of a small child as her mother clutched her neck, squeezing. The child kept saying to herself the lie again and again that her mother was not this creature choking her.

Her eyes were glazing over as Pattern peeked from behind the creature that was her mother but also not. He was curious how this plays out.

She reached for him and he accepted. Shining he became a lie.
