No acababa de decirte que te amo
cuando en mi cara bostezaste indiscreta
y ni que decir de las violetas que arrojaste a la banqueta.
Sabes bien que siento mariposas en en el estómago
y mi corazón se acelera al ver tu rostro desvelado,
porque has paseado toda la noche de fiesta en fiesta.
He llevado tus libros todo el ciclo
y no ha fallado en hacerte las tareas
esperando que cuando menos me besaras
aunque tuviera que subirme a algún banquillo
para estar a la altura de tus labios…
Ya el tiempo ha pasado,
la graduación este cerca,
mi corazón se siente desolado
cubriendo en lágrimas mi rostro virgen
de las caricias que tu me prometiste.
Sabes que soy inteligente
y que mis palabras son directas cual saeta
sólo contéstame una pequeña duda...
¿Me has estado solo usando, oh mi Julieta?

Just a question
I just told you that I love you
when you yawned indiscreetly on my face,
not to mention the violets you threw on the sidewalk.
You know well that I feel butterflies in my stomach
and my heart races when I see your face unveiled,
because you’ve been hanging all night from party to party.
I have carried your books the whole cycle
and has not failed to do your homework
hoping that you at least kiss me
even if I had to get on a bench
to be at the level of your lips ...
Time has passed,
graduation is near,
my heart feels desolate
covering my virgin face in tears
of the caresses that you promised me.
You know i’m smart
and that my words are direct as arrows
just answer me a little question ...
Have you been just using me, oh my Juliet?
