Mi prima estuvo entrenando unos cuantos meses para prepararse para una competición, donde haría varias pruebas, entre ellas, natación, ciclismo y 25 km de pista para finalizar. La competidora que cruce la línea primero ganará, y premios de consolación para la competidora que haga menos tiempo en cualquier prueba individual. El premio para la ganadora a parte de un pago monetario, beneficios donde estudiaba y becas, el premio de consolación solo contaba con becas y ayudas sociales en la institución cursante.
Muchas competidoras han participado en el evento, pero no todas han podido obtener el podio, podio que en ocasiones ha sido afectado porque algunas participantes hacen trampas solo por tener el reconocimiento al salir airosas en la competencia. Algunos padres dicen que los árbitros y reguladores de la competencia están comprados por familiares de las competidoras que de alguna u otra forma ocultan lo que ven, en vez de hacer un llamado de atención.
Una competidora el año pasado había hecho trampa en ciclismo, muchos se dieron cuenta y el jurado había negado lo que familiares y participantes habían visto. Ella al cometer tal acto debió descalificarse y ceder su puesto de ganadora a perdedora, sin derecho a competir en otras pruebas por lo menos unos años para que no se vuelva a repetir en otras participantes. Las sanciones hacen pensar a las competidoras si hacer o no trampa, pero sin sanción garantizan que otra competidora lo intente.

Gritaba Luisa, la que había quedado segunda en la competencia pasada, alegando que Emilia había hecho trampa en ciclismo, su entrenador había colocado un liquido especial en la cadena de la bicicleta para darle una ventaja considerable y superar a las demás participantes para luego correr más tranquila los 25 kilómetros finales. Emilia y su entrenador desmintieron esa información, pero alguien había grabado el video. Los jueces revisaron y dijeron que ya no podían hacer nada, que para la próxima competencia revisarían todo a fondo para evitar problemas y darle más credibilidad y confianza a todo lo que hace.
