En el año 2020 recibí un mensaje de un amigo ofreciendo trabajo para una tienda de venta de refrigeración y mantenimiento de aires acondicionados y neveras. El 04 de diciembre recibí el mensaje, donde ofrecía trabajo por unos dos meses, ya que el tenía que viajar con su hermano, su padre y dos técnicos a otro estado a realizar unos trabajos de mantenimiento de aires acondicionado y montaje de equipos para un hospital privado, pero no quería dejar la tienda sin abrir o cerrarla mientras ellos estaban por fuera.

Yo acepté la invitación a trabajar y le agradecí por contar con uno para un trabajo. A el otro día recuerdo que era viernes el me dijo para ir, para explicarme como eran las cosas y como trabajaban ellos. Ahí conocí a los técnicos, pero solo uno de ellos me acompañaría mientras los demás estaban con mi amigo. Lo principal en ese día era más o menos aprender de ciertos productos que vendían y los más frecuentes.

Debo decirles que no tenía ni idea de nada en esa tienda, nunca había manejado equipos y manejado bombonas con gases, carga y descarga de las misma, manejar bomba de vacío, y probar equipos como aires acondicionados y neveras, esta ultima en ciertas cosas fáciles de detectar. Aprendí muchas cosas, todo lo mencionado arriba y prueba para descubrir fugas de gas, soldadura con varillas con soplete, cortar tubos y medirlo, que, aunque parezca fácil no lo es.

Probé compresores, de aire y nevera, detectar si un compresor de aire se fue a tierra, como hacer con un compresor dañado una bomba de vacío, medir las presiones de los aires y el amperaje al que trabaja cada uno, limpieza de tuberías con dieléctrico y llenado de equipos nuevos, perforación de bombonas para solucionar fugas, venta de aires acondicionados que estaban reparados o iban a ser reparados. Aprendí muchas cosas que sin duda todo fue agradecido.

La idea era trabajar por dos meses que en teoría era la duración del trabajo externo, si era más tiempo igualmente recibiría mi pago, pero resulta que no trabajé dos meses, fueron doce meses de trabajo donde aprendí muchísimo, si me hubiese planteado la situación nunca me lo hubiera imaginado. Trabajé por un año, y el mes de enero renuncié, básicamente la hermana de mi amigo y el novio que se regresaban de Argentina venían a ocupar mi puesto. En diciembre me lo habían anunciado y decidí irme antes que un día me dijeran hasta esta semana trabajas.

No quería irme, pero entiendo el punto de regresar al país, y bueno quise explorar un segundo trabajo, ya que ese había sido mi primer trabajo formal y legal. Hasta al día de hoy no he encontrado un nuevo trabajo, pero sigo en la búsqueda, tarde o temprano llegará el día, de mientras estoy aprendiendo programación por mi cuenta. Si todo va bien creo que este año, en diciembre puedo decir oficialmente que soy programador, me surgió la curiosidad y me termino gustando.

In 2020 I received a message from a friend offering work for a store selling refrigeration and maintenance of air conditioners and refrigerators. On December 04 I received the message, where he offered work for about two months, as he had to travel with his brother, his father and two technicians to another state to perform some maintenance work of air conditioning and assembly of equipment for a private hospital, but did not want to leave the store without opening or closing it while they were away.

There I met the technicians, but only one of them would accompany me while the others were with my friend. The main thing that day was more or less to learn about certain products they sold and the most frequent ones.

I must tell you that I had no idea of anything in that store, I had never handled equipment and handled gas cylinders, loading and unloading of the same, handle vacuum pump, and test equipment such as air conditioners and refrigerators, the latter in certain things easy to detect. I learned many things, everything mentioned above and test to discover gas leaks, welding with torch rods, cutting pipes and measure it, which, although it seems easy it is not.

I tested compressors, air and refrigerator, detect if an air compressor was grounded, how to make a vacuum pump with a damaged compressor, measure the pressures of the air and the amperage at which each one works, cleaning pipes with dielectric and filling new equipment, drilling cylinders to solve leaks, selling air conditioners that were repaired or were to be repaired. I learned many things that no doubt everything was appreciated.

The idea was to work for two months which in theory was the duration of the external work, if it was longer I would still receive my payment, but it turns out that I did not work two months, were twelve months of work where I learned a lot, if I had raised the situation I never would have imagined. I worked for a year, and in January I resigned, basically my friend's sister and boyfriend who were returning from Argentina came to take my place. In December they had announced it to me and I decided to leave before one day they told me until this week you work.

I did not want to leave, but I understand the point of returning to the country, and well I wanted to explore a side hustle, since that had been my first formal and legal job. So far I haven't found a new job, but I'm still searching, sooner or later the day will come, in the meantime I'm learning programming on my own. If all goes well I think that this year, in December I can officially say that I am a programmer, I got curious and I ended up liking it.
