Mary is afraid, very afraid. She is all alone in her room. The wind was blowing so hard that there is "WOOOOOOO" sounds coming from it. She knew her mum just left 3 hours ago towards the airport and yet there was knocking on the door. She wasn't expecting anyone yet the knocking went louder and louder.
She did not know what to do, hugged onto the cushion and refrain from turning her head towards the door.
There were fiddling and attempting of turning on the door knob. And suddenly the door fling open, there stood a figure fully drenched with the wind gushing into the house. Mary immediately closed her eyes, she didn't want to see who came in.
"Mary, I was knocking the door so hard but why didn't you answer and open the door!" Mary's mum said to her.
Apparently, on her way to the airport, Mary's mum was informed through email that her flight is cancelled due to hurricane at the flight destination. Therefore she headed home but only to know that she left her house keys at home.
