Support your friends' work

@varunpinto and I had gone to meet a client today regarding improving and optimizing their social media page and help them increase their business through digital marketing.

Upon meeting him, and discussing he tells us that he has a friend who will shoot the video and that all he needs help with is to optimize their social media page with good content and that too for free of cost.

This is very common among some people. They expect that if you are their friend, you should provide your services to them free of cost. Some even go so far as to ask our products, which cost us hard earned money to give it to them for free.

Any skill takes years of practice to develop. Be it social media handling, photography or video editing. After putting in hours of time and efforts you reach that stage where you are confident enough to approach people offering your service.

So for everyone reading this, if you avail services from your artist friends, photographers, digital marketers or any profession, make it a point to pay them even if they were willing to do it for free.

Don't worry, the money you pay will be paid back to you in double in the quality of work they will provide you. Yes, it will motivate them to give you their best work.

I have always followed this and because of this, the friends whom I get work done from are always happy to work with me again and provide me their quality work at best rates.

Cheers!
