I'm not sure how it happened but I've gone from being a young girl to an old lady. My Mom always said she stopped aging in her head at age 18. I didn't understand this at the time. I believe I was 15 or 16. Last June I celebrated my 60th birthday. I have managed to retain most of my figure, but my flexibility and strength are far from what they were in the 70s and 80s.
The best thing about being old is I have grandchildren and a great-grandbaby. It's amazing to see kids I taught in Sunday School decades ago having children of their own.
I am blessed with long life and praise God for every day I can live and love my family.

I was going to write along the same lines of where did the time go and how did I get this old, then decided to write about my grandmother. I am 66 and have no great-grandbabies yet. I have a 32 year old grandson and a 22 year old grandaughter.
My granddaughter is just 23 and had her daughter two years ago or I wouldn't have gotten one yet, either. It is amazing to be able to know her! ❤️🙏
it will be really nice to see the one we know from their birth gets old and fianlly having their own kids. There is always some joy in it, that we have been blessed to live that long.
