Heaving his axe out of the monster’s back, King God Reginald von Baxterville wiped the sweat from his brow, looking across the fiery battlefield of the lower realms. Plumes of lava burst from geysers all across the horizon, bathing the bedrock in magma. Reaching into his belt pouch, he pulled a bottle containing an icy blue liquid. Popping its cork, he took a great swig, downing its contents in one. He tossed the empty vial to the ground and felt the rush of cold through his body. His breath produced light frost and all his hairs stood on end: relief from the mounting heat.
Listen to your heart, his daughter told him. His heart yearned for more adventure.
Years of exploration and mercenary work had led Reginald to the highest heights of wealth. Two dragon hordes and a lich’s stronghold later and he had become the most independently wealthy human in all of Eden.
Now, he had turned to plundering the depths of the planet, unearthing all manner of strange and alien creatures that had made their home in the molten underworld. He had hoped to stumble upon the nesting site of the ever-present red dragon Gil, but any adversary would suffice. He strapped his axe to his back and continued into the bowels of hell.

In some of fights that I saw about Fantasy, dragons are drowned in fire and are unaffected, I think it's an exaggeration
